Ahh, finally lol. My only question about it would be whether the concept of nucleus got carried out into the current manga. A nucleus would actually explain how ymir could steal titan powers. It would take a different form than in the pilot chapter considering that all titans have the same weak point though. If there is a nucleus involved then I could even imagine how eren could have obtained titan powers.

What if the whole thing was started by the friend or reyner and berholt that ymir accidentally ate? Imagine if her killing him somehow led to grisha obtaining titan powers for eren. Imagine if eren currently has that guys titan powers.... More so, what if it has something to do with the coordinate? Perhaps that kid had it for whatever reason and since loosing it reyner and berholt would have had to stay back to recover it due to the danger it represented to their people. And from them we come upon many more crackpot theories.

Berholt and reyner said they didn't know what they were doing 5 years back. Perhaps they got scared from losing the coordinate and acted rashly, as kids would. Well, its not normal for kids to just destroy 20% of humanity however if they thought it would minimize the risk it is from some angles a logical alternative to minimize the risk to their people. The choosing of the particular place they would have chosen to attack 5 years back would be based on its proximity to where their friend would have died. Any thoughts?

Anyone notice that Rivaille doesnt have a last name. You would think such a major character that even got his own spin off would have a last name. Even insignificant one-time characters get last names. But you know who else doesnt gave a last name? Ymir.... They also sorta look alike....

I'm pretty sure Reiner specifically said that their objective was to eliminate mankind within the walls, so I don't really see it as a result of panic. And with Berwick being the coordinate, I doubt it. The coordinate shouldn't be guarded by the hands of two other children. But you never know. XD

Some speculate that Levi is an alias. Ymir, on the other hand, well I'm guessing we'd probably get her full name when we hear her backstory.

Looks like Mikasa was about to have a little brother. Nothing subtle about the imagery with Mikasa's dolls, but fun to see her not liking Eren and Grisha remarking that he only has one friend. No wonder why, as he goes on to threaten to hit her xD

Yea, there was a lot being repeated that we already knew, but it was funny hearing it all from Mikasa's perspective. She was not impressed XD Ah, yes, makes sense, I couldn't remember what the context of this was. The writing is definitely not subtle though, with the sibling imagery. Felt like you were being hit in the face. With a golf club. That says "sibling imagery".
Overall, as expected this is cute, but not that interesting compared to the other extra material, I think. Can't wait to see what they did with Ilse's Diary.

Attack on Titan Manga's 2nd Anime DVD Bundle Listed

New anime about 104th Training Corps listed with 13th manga volume on April 9

Japanese retailers Seibunkan, Presepe, and e alamode list Hajime Isayama's 13th Attack on Titan manga volume in a limited-edition bundle with a new original animation DVD on April 9, 2014. According to the store listings, the anime will depict another story about the 104th Training Corps.

The manga had already scheduled the first original anime DVD with its 11th volume, although that DVD was delayed. The first original anime DVD will now ship with the 12th manga volume next month and adapt "Ilse no Techō" (Ilse's Journal), the prologue side story about a training corps member.

Kodansha Comics is publishing the main Attack on Titan manga in North America, along with Hikaru Suruga and Gan Sunaaku's Attack on Titan: No Regrets and Satoshi Shiki and Ryō Suzukaze's Attack on Titan: Before the Fall spinoff manga. It is also publishing Saki Nakagawa's Attack on Titan: Junior High manga and the Attack on Titan Guidebooks: INSIDE & OUTSIDE. Vertical is publishing Suzukaze's original Attack on Titan: Before the Fall novel series. Both Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the manga's televsion anime adaptation as it aired in Japan. Funimation will release the series on home video next year.

So it seems like we're getting another OVA like Ilse's Journal. This time about the 104th too. But I'm wondering if it's slightly about RBA. That's the ad image they seem to be showing.

Maybe we'll get the training scenes of the manga animated (like the kick in the legs and this kind of stuff) and they made a mistake for "Ilse no Techo" she is part of the "scooting legion" or "Survey Crops", your call... And she is a pretty damn tasty~ I mean freckled, woman...

Seems interesting... Hope we will be able to see this first OVA soon...

Hey guys. My younger sister is really into SnK. I was wondering if you guys have come across any merchandise related to this series that is really cool or that you think a fan would really enjoy. I'm not really interested in getting her the mangas or DVDs necessarily. I was thinking something more along the lines of clothing or something related.

I would really appreciate it if you could post a link here or else send me a PM. My price range is roughly $50 USD. I'm certainly willing to spend more if the item is especially cool.

I don't know if prints are a part of your list but here are some cool (fanart) prints, maybe it will be okay maybe not (I mean my tastes are not yours or of your little sister).

Then there are all the keyholders and stuff but not Ymir related... (Import from China, quality may GREATLY vary)

And then there is redbubble, and well some of the designs are horrible, but some of them are good, unfortunately no Ymir designs exist yet... (And well Ymir is still not named in the anime so it's kind of normal, only the manga readers know how cool she really is).


I think that's all I know for cool Shingeki stuff.

Otherwise if it's not for a birthday or really soon, you have Qwertee, but it's not always (almost never) that you have a shingeki no kyojin design for sale BUT you may find something else there (if she enjoyed "my neighbor Totoro" or "The Legend of Zelda", you can have really awesome designs there)
