Thank you for the link! I remembered that he wanted to end it in 20 volumes as well, kind of glad that he actually decided to extend it. Hopefully he doesn't drag it too long though.

Manga is set to end in 3 years

"The last of the "giants of march" says "as their own, three years after" the author."

So according to original author of SnK manga, Hajime Isayama, SNK manga will end in 3 years. The last volume will be volume 20.

I believe he just wanted to emphasize how Mikasa didn't get along with any of the girls in the 104th, and just answered by naming the girliest guy. Though Armin probably has more balls than all of us combined...

Interesting. Further evidence Isayama doesn't like to apply (binary) genders to SNK characters, period. So I think with this answer he's basically re-opening Armin's gender for reader interpretation.

I kind of assumed Titans smelled a lot worse. They've been running around naked in the dirt for a century, and yet they smell like lovely scent sticks.
Maybe the Titans actual purpose is to just be giant air fresheners. Who knows?

I wonder what the Beast titan must smell like then.

btw Isayama said titans smell like a "spa town" apparently. Towns set amidst hot springs, are NOT perfume-y. They have a rotten egg-like sulphur smell. Once you get hooked on them you look forward to the smell too (seriously, I love it), but it still isn't some perfume-y type thing. The first time or two you go, it can be rather overwhelming. (Also depends on the level of sulphur present in the region you're going to the onsen though.)

Well my best friend finished the Anime. He's going to re-watch it and see if he can figure out who the colossal and armored titans are. He says he also missed a lot of things because he got distracted by how good the animation was.

He did not know, but once Erwin told Eren they believed the Armored and Colossal were shifters I told him that there were several shifters and that it was like the Cylons in Battlestar Galactica, and there were clues about it. He correctly figured out who the Female titan was, based on there being only major female character who wasn't shown when the female titan was around. And honestly once you know who the female is, it's not hard to start figuring out the Armored and colossal titans. I also told him there was at least one more, but that he probably won't be able to get it.

That's pretty cool that he figured Annie out so early. Can't imagine him guessing Ymir though, except maybe as a joke.

I'm sure the second time, he'll see they pretty much gave Reiner away in the anime. From there, he'll probably figure Bert out rather quickly. People can miss that it's him if they go by appearances, but if your friend is logic-ing it out (yes that's a phrase I just made it up, what?) by character position and/or story structure (which is what I should have done lol), he'll get it pretty fast.

Well if you assume that the Female Titan is a fair play mystery, and thus not some random person we've never seen before, she pretty much has to be Annie. Because every other named female character is seen at the same time in the expidition at the same time as the female titan.

I did give him help, telling him there were four secret shifters I knew of, but that their were only enough clues for three right now. Now if he can see the Ilse's notebook OVA...
