can someone prove conclusively that it is a bloodline limit? like can someone provide a chapter example where it is stated to be a bloodline limit?
i posted a while back about madara potentially sharingan-stealing that technique from First, and people trampled all over it (not really, i'm being hyperbolic), saying how he couldn't possibly take it because it is a bloodline limit.
now, i do concede the fact that sharingan can't take bloodline limits, but i am doubtful that it was in fact a bloodline limit.
if it is, why didn't the Second Hokage (First's brother) also have it?
Every bloodline limit we've ever seen has been possessed (or obtainable) by all members of the family. Examples : sharingan (except those who do not fight, all members have it), byakugan (all members) and the Inuzuka clan dog affinity (again all members).
so, is that technique a bloodline limit? i think not. if anyone thinks something to the contrary (or something totally different) please state and provide evidence.
