Hi everyone,
I am the representative of the Enigma! Edited Manga group and I have some suggestion for the releases on the shout box.
First thing first, our problem(s) with the shout box. For us who are doing speed scan everyweek, earlier releases are supposed to gained advantages as they can get to the fans before those of the others'. However, the way the shout box is working now make those advantages and our efforts to get those advantages be in vain. The problem is the later releases completely "wiped out" those came before them. For example, this week, we were the first one to release the chapter 234 of the series Mahou Sensei Negima! However, half an hour later, our release on the shoutbox was replaced by that of another group's which about some hours later was also by another group's. That made us feel like we, or more accurately, our release was "forgotten" and that our efforts for being early while keeping our best quality among the weekly release was for nothing (which was not only for being known but for the thirst of better quality of all manga fan out there). On some level, that is quite "unfair" to us, don't you think?
Therefore, to fix that one out of many bugging things about the shout box, we recommend the following thing:
Instead of replacing the old releases of the same chapter by the newest one, can we just keep them all (the same chapter from different groups instead of just the latest group) and make them disappear after one week after the release?
Can you some how squeeze them (different releases of different groups of the same chapter) into the shoutbox without deleting/replacing the old one - new one? If possible, we would (and sure that many others would) appreciate that.
Thank you very much,
Sincerety,
Draco.
