I haven't seen 4 layers honestly but I might need to get me some if it does exist, even more protection against accidental fingering

They're nice as long as you don't invade their space or do something that agitates them, otherwise they'll punch your teeth down your throat and kick your bits into the next decade. They'll go after dogs too as per that one video.

Side note, kangaroo meat is super nice

I haven't had the chance too but they're beautiful! They can be feisty at times but the ones in zoos you can hold are fairly placid.
