Well, Frieren and co are supposed to protect her.
Hard not to think about it but I don't think it's her. She has no reason to do it and Serie said she doesn't know who the killer is. Surely she knows how Reelseiden works. The one who comes to mind is Gorilla Warrior. He would become known as the one who killed the strongest Mage.
That's exactly why I'm worried. She's so far off the powerscale that if she ends up being "saved" it'll feel cheap. No matter the position she is in, she should be able to counter that better than anyone. And we've seen how capable she is against the gold dude, it's not like she is just raw power alone.
I don't know about it feeling cheap, magic in this series is about visualization and imagination and if Serie cannot visualize her survival here, then her being saved by those who can is not out of the question
I mean, unless it's something very creative I'm not so sure about that. Serie is THE master of magic, her posibilities are endless as well as her power, a little bit of imagination shouldn't be a threat. And if everything comes down to her not being able to imagine the power of friendship, well...
Gonna be another slog to get through with an arc that has almost as good as El Dorado, but health comes first
