Spring 2010 Creativity contest

Welcome to the Spring Creativity Contest!​

Ok, you can't draw. You have absolutely no talent with a pencil! Coloring? Pff, not for you either. Or maybe you're artzy, but your art doesn't fit any of our other categories.

Does that mean you can't take part of the contests? No way! This contest is aimed at you!

Can you cook?
Can you take good pictures?
Can you sing?
Can you play a anime/game song on your instrument - or even whistle?
Can you cosplay?
Can you make an AMV?

Just do ANYTHING related to manga even if it's not on the list above, and give it a go! We want to see where your creativity can take you!

If your submission is a result of a collaborative work, please state the names of all the involved. Make sure everyone agrees on participating of the contest!

To apply, follow this instructions:

-The contest doesn't have a specific theme! Feel free to do anything you like, doesn't have to be summer related.

- You can submit up to 3 pieces for this contest. Only your most voted entry will be taken in account for the results though - you won't be able to win at 1st, 2nd and 3rd places at once.

-Audiovisual submissions: Host it on youtube, dailymotion, ijigg (for songs), or anywhere everyone can easily have access to it. Please write "to Mangahelpers Summer Creativity Contest" on the submission's description.

-Anything else: Take a picture and upload it to the Photoplog. Just click here.

If you have some sort of special submission that can't be submitted in none of the specified ways, please contact us by PM or posting in this thread, and we'll find a way.

We'll keep on updating this post with the current submissions.

Contest Schedule

Submissions: May 6th to June 9th
Voting: June 10th to June 19th
Results: June 20th

There's plenty of time, so do your best! Don't miss the deadline!

cant upload anything to photoplug >.> whats wrong ? It says im not authorized or something and i have to log in but whenever i do, I always get redirected back to the page.

Is this contest dead? Anyway, since the link provided for uploads doesn't work, I'm going to post my three entries here:

Hand made Tobi mask from Naruto, made with terra-cotta and painted with acrylics.

Hand made replica of Zack/Cloud Buster Sword from the Final Fantasy series, made with wood, glue and painted with acrylics.

Hand made Hannya's mask from Rurouni Kenshin, made with terra-cotta, paper-mache, and painted with acrylics.

I hope I can enter the contest even just submitting them here in the forum!

Due to the lack of competitors, we're cancelling the contest this time. ;_; Sorry Sariachan, please submit them again for the next contest, everything looks awesome!
