Aw c'mon, he's the doc. Zoro after thriller bark? Luffy after enies lobby? Nah, chopper is one of the most vital in the crew.

Are we reading the same manga? Since when was Chopper the doctor? Just a reindeer that serves a comic purpose.

Yeah outside his doc duties he's hardly anything but it'd be stupid for a pirate crew as notorious as SH to not have a doc. Especially since they always get involved in fights.

Chopper is a great doctor. We haven't compared him to any other normal doctors so we don't know how good he is. He learned all the skills from another doctor who has about 120 years worth of medical knowledge (if kureha became a doc at 19), which not many have.

And also to think him of as a doc is a waste. IMO he is a fighter, no less. Strawhats are all unique fighters including the 7 transformation chopper.

Thats why everyone likes him. He doesn't order anyone around and doesn't use fear to make his crew respect him. That is why strawhats are so strong

Its not just about who you dislike, their role on the ship also matters. Without Nami, they can't go anywhere.

In terms of contribution on the boat or in general: Zoro is useless, Robin is useless (and no! Brook is a musician, and in this world I d like to have a musician with me!) and Luffy is useless too. You can't get rid of Nami/Sanji/Franky/Chopper they're too essantial to the survival of their adventures.

In term of strength:
Luffy and Zoro are untouchable. (i d like to add Sanji but i wait his moment)
Robin has a strong power: knowledge. And i think she is the greatest asset compared to the other crews. She is littreatly the only person alive who can read this stuff. And when you know it's a way to find the ultimate weapons plus to discredit the WG, i think i d keep her.
The worst here are Ussop / Nami and Brook (Chopper isn't weak... he controls the frigging Monster Point, as Franky he's much stronger after timeskip)
But now Ussop has a good connection with a lot of different countries (Elbaf, and prettty much all the people transformed in Dressrosa), he's kinda the Buggy of SH's crew.

So actually, i d say Brook too. But after recording him with dials! nah!

While i could agree that Robin is useless except for her knowledge of the history and reading poneglyphs there is no way Luffy and Zoro are useless. Two of them together with Sanji are both the main defense and attacking force of the crew. Without them they wouldn't last a few days in the paradise not to mention new world, they would probably be destroyed by the first pirate group they come across. I would say they are more essential than any of the others.

As far as I am concerned we already did, Merry Go has been replaced. The rest of the crew are invaluable. Usoppu you say? Who would have motivated Luffy in the fight with Lucci? Chopper is the doctor, i don''t know what you have been smoking to think the ship doesn't need him. Brook would be the next to go, but i feel like the crew needs at least two swordsmen.

as far as usefulness goes there isnt a single one who isnt useful ,thats the whole point of gathering the crew .you could say the sniper and the musician arent absolutely necessery tho

I don't know about them not being necessary, in Luffy's ideal crew, there has to be a musician-Brooks music represents to me a certain lore about pirates; which is the connection they have to songs/chants and the whole swashbuckling idea of a pirates. Usoppu as a sniper gives the crew advanced warning of enemys/ability to attack from afar. With the exception of Brook using his Ghost form, no one can match Usoppu's vision, and even then ghost Brook still has to travel back to his body in order to warn of enemies. Hell, he unlocked his haki and made a sniper shot from like half an island away to save luffy/law from sugar. people need to start giving usoppu some credit
