He is holding his own against serious Selene. Overwhelmed, yes, but still holding his own. He is countering and tanking her attacks

While August (and by extension Eileen) is one shot material for serious Acno.

after this chapter, suzaku is def not stronger than irene. he's at best gildarts level.

A serious Acno can gut God Serena before August can blink. If Selene's blades are even half this level, then Suzaku is already the fastest character in the series that's not an Acno tier. Unless you think that Irene's reaction speed is vastly superior to August, in which case that would make Wendy and Erza faster than August and Gildarts.

1% is only the amount of Irene's leftover power that Wendy can use by herself. With Irene's in control, they're using 100% of the power that Irene left over in Wendy's body. Granted, the majority of Irene's power was probably used up in the fight against Erza and Wendy, before she enchanted herself in Wendy's body. Still, it doesn't give Irene any feats she doesn't have. All her power was displayed between the Alvarez arc and the Nebaru fight.

If we are to believe that the god dragons are actually on Acnologia's level, and that a serious Selene is within the ballpark of a serious human Acno, then Suzaku basically has every advantage in this fight except for raw MP. His speed is in a tier of it's own. He's got enough attack power to oneshot Erza/Natsu and directly oppose Selene's attacks. Durability might be a toss-up, but it's already better than Gildarts or Erza, of which Irene/August tiers don't have an easy time putting down.

She is smiling the whole time, I cant see her being serious here. And she is like stomping him. He can tank whatever he wants, but he cant do anything. Maybe in next chapter he will pull out something, but for now he is nothing compared to her.

Also my point is Acno >>> Dragon Gods, so she isnt so OP as him to begin with.

PS. Win against some serious foes means nothing in FT. Invel was serious and still lose to Gray despite being tiers above him. The same goes to half of battles

We don't know about raw MP tho.
But durability isn't really up for toss at all. He tanked multiple named attacks from casual, as well as serious Selene.

As for speed, agreed. Suzaku is probably the fastest non Acno tier character around, with the exception of maybe DF Natsu and meteor Jellol. How do you think Suzaku fares against these two in speed? I think he's probably still the fastest by a decent margin.

I'm judging this purely on how people tend to react to August and Irene's mp. Granted Suzaku didn't really start flexing his MP until he faced off against Selene, so I do see your point.

Faster than both. Possibly much faster, if we are to believe that Selene has comparable speed to Aldoron at full power.

I don't get why people can't accept that there are Acno tier dragons.

In fact, we already saw one many arcs ago - Igneel! It is likely that there were other dragons back then as well who were also Acno tier. The reason why Acno is unbeatable is not just his monstrous stats (though that does play a role), but because of his near magic immunity and soul steal hax.

Selene being Acno tier in stats is enough to establish Suzaku to be far superior to Spriggans. Obviously at least top mages in Diabolos should be at a level to put up a fight, or else there is no point to their existence. If people can't accept that, IDK what to say lol, it's just story telling 101.
