Welcome to the BDR thread ^^

Hmm, I'd say about...3 or 4? Though I didn't really get good (decent) at it till last year.

I do want to of course! But I haven't yet...It would be nice to be able to talk to a native speaker, both to gain a bit more knowlege...and to be able to talk to someone in another language that I kind of understand.

And yes. Trau is an excellent manga. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled too soon, (although things are looking kind of bad for it...)

Ah Hiragana and Katakana. Don't give up! Once you know those, the rest of the language opens up like a book!

A. Law and Order: CI is my favorite right now...though I have no time to watch it >_<. I also like Futurama (Just bought the first two seasons! That I have no time to watch. >_>) Mainly I like comedies and crime dramas. (Weird combination I know.) I'll watch anything that has one (or both) elements in them.

B. I USED to....but I really dislike a certian Ninja manga, and English SJ pimps that manga a little bit too much for my liking. Plus English manga can be a bit expensive, and since I want to learn Japanese, it's better (and less expensive) to buy raws. I still buy Gintama in english though, since I want to support the series in any way I can. (I'll buy those DVD's in English when they start coming out....)

Well~! It's nice to meet you Samie! Japanese or Korean, it's always nice to meet more Gintama fans! Yeah outside of the asian territories, Gintama seems to have a lukewarm reception at best. Hahah, you probably don't want to be like me though, I'm terrible. (Seriously, I'm a awful awful person.)

As for Japanese, I really learned what I know by watching lots of raw anime, and reading lots of raw manga. I know it's not the best way to learn it (in fact it's probably not a good way at all.) But I feel as long as one is really determined to do something, any way of learning it will do. ^^ I see that you're working hard on learning English, and I wish you luck!

I plan on continuing soon. (How soon is the question, as I'm really busy nowadays...) Though I'm almost done with Volume 4 and there are no more raws here on MH. So if you know someone with Volume 5 raws you should ask them nicely to upload the raws to Mangahelpers.

Better late than never I always say. ^^ Man It's been YEARS since I worked on anything Ueki related.....yet here I am doing Takkoku. :-P I guess I just can't get away from Fukuchi can I?

I'm still mulling over doing Hyde as I'm really busy with RL right now. It's not dropped YET, but it's looking somewhat likely since the series is over in Japan, and Viz has the rights to an English translation already.

I'm also learning Japanese but I'm still not able to translate things from this language...]. ^^''' And we're late too, I've only translated 2 chapters for the moment ^^'

Alternatively, the way Teams translate Mangas into English is completely different from the way French Teams translate mangas into French... But I think you already knew that ^^' ...

If not, I'll be glad to answer your questions if I know the answers xD...
But I won't be able to do it now because I've got to travel for hollydays...
