What does ４巻表紙ボツラフ mean? I get the "volume cover" part, but what's "botsurafu"? That was written in an image drawn with pencil between chapters of a volume, and it's not the same drawing as in the cover, so I thought it was "first version" or "draft". Am I right?

Do you know of any Japanese IME for Linux? Or any for Windows that works under Wine?

ボツ is from the kanji 没, meaning "rejected", and ラフ is from English "rough". So yeah, "discarded draft".

Do you know of any Japanese IME for Linux? Or any for Windows that works under Wine?

Certainly not offhand >< I've never used Linux, or Wine, and I'm not really that familiar with Windows either for that matter, so I daresay you'd be significantly more knowledgeable than I am in that area ~~

Reality check: That panel is already translated in my existing translation of that chapter, and I just posted in this thread about how I've edited my translation of that exact panel >_<

I think for the first one, I'd probably go with something like:
ジェークがモールに行っているなら、殺す。
(Jake ga mo-ru ni itteiru nara, korosu.)
"Nara" is a useful conditional structure, because it's just a logical operation without real strings attached. It basically means "If X is true, then Y". It's the most suitable in this situation, because the other conditional forms imply things about time relations that don't mesh with what the sentence is trying to say.

Whereas the second one would be:
もしジェークがモールに行ったら、殺す。
(Moshi Jake ga mo-ru ni ittara, korosu.)
The "~tara" form is probably the most common conditional structure, but has plenty of strings attached. It can be summed up as "If/when X happens, then Y". The "moshi" is there to emphasise that the intended meaning is if rather than when. Without the "moshi", it could sound kind of like the speaker is expecting him to go to the mall (and ready to kill him when he does).

But perhaps more straightforward is a simple "If Jake goes to the mall, I'll kill him":
ジェークがモールに行くと、殺す。
(Jake ga mo-ru ni iku to, korosu.)
Unlike the "~tara" form, which, if anything, emphasises sequence in time, the "to" structure emphasises straightforward cause and effect. Basically, "If/when X happens, then Y will result from it." It's the "if you push this button..." structure. " By extension, it's also used for relationships that are so natural as to be unavoidable, such as "When Summer comes, the temperature rises".

There's also one more conditional, the "~ba" form, which I'd say is perhaps somewhere in between "~tara" and "to" (closer to "~tara"), but we don't really need to go into that ~~

I know this page already has a translation but I have learned not to stick with just one translation. I looked for the raw here in MH but I could not find it though...

Thing is, we are having a discussion and what shirosaki said on that chapter has been used as an argument. They were arguing shirosaki in that page meant that ichigo got slower as he fought byakuya because of the pressure of the reiatsu released by senkei over him. I argued shirosaki in that page meant that ichigo was scared of byakuya's bankai and the reason ichigo slowed down and eventually was unable to move was because he reached his limit. Maybe you can give us some insight on this.
