In the fight between sandai hokage and Orochimaru, Orochimaru used Edo tensei to summon shodai and nidai hokage. The two former hokage had a brief talk with Sandai Hokage, before they said "edo tensei, it seems we must fight". And then Orochimaru put in those kunai to kill their personalities/memories.

If Sandai hokage had somehow managed to disarm Orochimaru of said Kunai, would the former two hokage be as they were, personalities and all?
