It infuriates me how we still havent gotten a single character to acknolwedge the freaking huge ass Egg on Gold D Roger ship.

Yet both Oda and the anime staff love to dangle it in front of our faces.

And this is Toei, who is cheap as f*ck, that we are talking about here. They wouldn´t mantain that consistency if Oda had not asked for it.


It even gets a freaking shot all for itself on the Zou anime.

That egg might have been eaten. Roger's version of Sanji probably cooked it for him right before he turned himself in.

Maybe that chicken rooster guy from big mom's crew with the egg egg fruit saw it, got jealous and destroyed it at some point in the past when roger and big mom was active together. OR maybe the egg is the final form of the user of the egg egg fruit the user used to be a person on Roger's crew and we just keep seeing him like that everytime (yeah this ones farfetched lol).

Maybe that egg will be something Oda will just refuse to answer and leave it up to us and that's perfectly fine with me.

Holy shit that CAN work but only if Oda somehow find a way to explain why a kid would be born in an egg and how long it took for him to hatch. Also he has to have hatched over a decade after Roger's execution since momo is just a brat. So if this is true someone else was in possesion of this egg after Roger died. Furthermore, taking this hypothesis into account, did momo take so long to hatch and not hatch while he was on Roger's ship because simply no one incubated him and he was always left out in the open?

Man! So many questions hahahahaha.

Do we know when the Edd War flashback and Zou flashback take place?

Because its where the egg is present. I think we can only assume Zou is pre-raftel, since in Pedro´s flashback Oden was on Roger ship.
I backtracked to Buggy´s flashback about eating the Bara Bara no Mi and its not there, but its also not the Oro Jackson yet.

So it could also be just a random decoration, but I see no pratical use no it, and I doubt Tom would add something superfolous to his masterpiece.

The best bet is that it is the egg of a dragon because in Punk Hazard we meet artificial dragons and a dragon fruit, Kin'emon hates dragons, real dragons have been said to have existed, Monsters features one and last but not least Tenryubito translates to Heavenly Dragon People.

That's a tad too much dragons for dragons too not have any relevance. Especially why would the World Government be interested in creating Dragons, the fact that one was liked and named by a Tenryubito makes me think it was a Tenryubito ordered project.
