I love the excessive yellow in this match to Real Madrid, even when red cards are supposed to be given (Marcelo!). Seems like they're making sure some of the key players don't get in the final... <.<

Well, most of the time, I don't think Webb should too sensitive giving yellow cards to every Madrid players foul. Howard Webb referee-ing in international level is also as bad as his referee-ing capability in English League. Madrid defending is so awful today. If Coentrao,Arbeloa and Casillas could be more cautious, Munchen 2nd goal wouldn't happened.

Going to the final without having key players booked once again is just enough for Madrid. Now I don't think they could become the champs.

Most of the match was boring diving by Droga and Busquets, but some periods were AWESOME. Cech was shaaarp.

But really, what an unlucky day for Barca, so many close calls.


All in all, happy 1-0 for chelsea, fellow barca haters =D

Didn't watch the game ... but even with this result, i don't believe that Chelsea's is going to make to the finals ... lets just pray that Chelsea's gets his revenge for what happened some years ago. But Barça is undoubtedly the best team in the world. But for now i am praying for Real Madrid ... if Mourinho manages to win Liga BBVA and Champions League ... he will have to be considered one of the best coaches ever.

I think he's already considered one of the best ever. As difficult it may be for Bayern to go to Madrid and not concede any goals, I still hope they beat them again. I really want a Bayern vs Barca rematch

Actually if Chelsea is going to play like the 1st semi match, their chance to proceed to go to the finals would be higher. The first rule to beat Barcelona is never play the ball widely and Chelsea players execute that tactics brilliantly during the first match.
As a Real Madrid fan, I doubt that Champions League champion is within Madrid's range. Mourinho made mistake during the first semi match when he switched Ronaldo position to the right instead of his usual position. With many key players are booked, things are going to be more difficult for Madrid. Goes to the Final, maybe. But if winning the finals? I'm kinda pessimistic.

As a Chelsea fan, this was amazing. I sat in the pub for like an hour afterward just digesting that we'd won.

We finally got our revenge.

The FERNANDO got it done. Can you believe it? He missed an empty netter against United after all. :P

Yeah, and you could see that the ref was being influenced to make decisions in Barca's favor. How many times were Chelsea players fouled but no whistle was blown? I remember one particularly blatant instance where like half the Chelsea team raised the arms in protest. I especially loved how the ref handed out yellows to Chelsea players for random reasons.

Not so shocked by the result, more at the fact that Torres scored.

Still disappointed for Barca though, no major trophy this season it looks like. Guardiola will have to spend in the summer, and hopefully he purchases good players with a bit of height to them.
