Ronaldo isn't in your fantasy team? :o
Hatter :derp

I would go for Pepe, instead of Pique ... but your team is definitely awesome :zomg
You're right...I don't like Ronaldo cuz I think he acts too much. But there is a budget you have to work with either way. So Ronaldo plus Messi is a no. Besides, Madrid aren't making it out of group stage :derp

Hmm if they keep playing like on La Liga, it's much likely they might even not get the third place for Europa League :lmao

And that, my dear friends, is how you become the most expensive player in the world.

Falcao is gonna be the most expensive if he keeps doing what he's doing though :XD

You know, the bad part is that we could've had Falcao for Torres + 15m pounds. :(

It's one of those things that have been thrown around; "If Casillas played for Barca; they'd be complete" "If Messi was Spanish, they would be complete"
Well, we all know Barca needs a new keeper. :P

I still think Messi should've gotten Spanish citizenship when he had the chance.

@kakashi: xD Indeed.

What an awesome Juve - Chelsea match, ended 2-2. Was even more exciting than RM - ManC. Kudos to Chelsea on getting Oscar, what a debut that was. We'll just have to wait and see if he'll keep it up.

ibra, the problem is that while Oscar was great, we didn't win. Mata missed a shot which could've made it 3-1 and sealed and Torres wasn't exactly on target. To some degree, we tried to just hold on towards the end there and we ended up conceding and not getting the win.

The negative is that of the eight group leaders, we were the only one not to record a win, although we should still finish first in our group, although we may now have to win at Juventus to ensure that.

The same thing could be said about Juve. Especially in most of the first half. In the end both teams despite playing well offensively, wasted huge chances, but I do guess it's gotta hurt Chelsea more since Juve are used to it (only part of the team missing is good offensive players...). And don't mention Torres to me, I dislike him since all he seems to be good for is adding insult to injury :p

Oh, and I wouldn't count on being no. 1 of the group just yet ;) Juve and unfortunately Shakhtar are contenders as well (FCN not so much).

Here are the highlights of the match for those unfortunate who didn't see it:

Yeah, Juve struggled in the first half and then narrowly missed a winner late on. The problem for us is that we haven't figured out how to get all of our players on the pitch at the same time, and then Torres...

The one thing we did last year was win every single home CL match we had, and we started off this campaign by blowing a 2-0 lead. Shakhtar shouldn't be that good away from home, but at home, they can be tough. Indeed, FCN really isn't a competitor, but they didn't get embarrassed by Shakhtar. We have to be No. 1 in our group, otherwise we risk facing Madrid, Barca, or Bayern in the Round of 16 as we can't face Arsenal or United.

I still think the biggest problem is that we didn't pick up another striker, which I think is mandatory in the January transfer window.

The more and more I look at the second strike from Oscar, the worse and worse it seems that we blew a 2-0 lead.

Considering that RDM seems unwilling to put Mata, Hazard, and Oscar on the pitch at the same time, as that would leave us with a somewhat questionable CM/CDM pairing as the last players before the back four, I'm not sure how we fit all of our players together. In some ways, I almost think we'd be better off without Torres and possibly playing Hazard as a false nine so that we can get both Mata and Oscar on the pitch at the same time. There's no point in having expensive attacking midfielders if you're not going to have them all on the pitch to make an impact together. For example, you don't see Bayern leaving one of Robben or Ribery on the bench...

Going forward, we clearly need to replace Lampard with some effective CDM, and get rid of Mikel, which would allow us more freedom in the attacking third. The Torres issue is something entirely different.

In the long term, we need to hope Courtois becomes all we think he will be, plus we do need a replacement for Terry.

God Juventus didn't look like themselves in that game at all. Pirlo was pretty non-existant in that game. Chelsea's one touch passing was what was killing Juve too. I still can't see Chelsea's "style" I know they are trying to do a more attacking game bringing all those midfielders, but I just don't see it. They just look like 10 players thrown onto the field and kick around the ball to hope for the best. Especially since Torres is pretty much useless as a lone striker in his current form.

You're completely right, as therein lies the problem. We don't have a style as at the moment it's a mix of offense and defense, and our CMs are left hanging in between. Without Mata on the field, there's not enough room for Ashley Cole to go forward, which leaves the left side of the field empty, and as Lampard's lost virtually all of his pace, he can no longer be a box to box midfielder, so RDM's current meld of styles and ideas isn't working. We can already see, such as those two poorly conceded goals to Reading and the two rather easily conceded goals to give Juve a draw in a match that they probably shouldn't have even been in.

You can not support both Liverpool and Chelsea. There can be a team you support and another team who you like, but with the bitter rivalry from the early to late 00s, you really can't support both. Now, for example, the team I support is Chelsea, but I like to see Everton do well, especially if them doing well means that they finish above Liverpool. :P

Nice Liverpool, Leverkusen and Juventus :super
French league is pretty much non-existant to me... as for Spain, I'll have to go with Athletic Bilbao. I've liked them for some years now. I used to like Real Madrid because of Raul, but since they sold him and Murinho is now their manager, not anymore.

He's right... forget about Chelsea, Liverpool is the way to go :D Even though Liverpool is my english team, I still support Everton, because I think they are a great club to finish top ten every season without spending much money, if any money at all.

A lot of people think David Moyes will succeed SAF whenever he ends up retiring, and I think Moyes will do quite well for United, assuming that he does get the job. He's done so much with rather limited resources at Everton, and even though I'm a Chelsea fan, I look forward to seeing what he can do with an ample transfer budget.

I know but my favorite player is Fernando Torres, like he is gone to Chelsea..
But, if all my teams play against Chelsea, I'll support them, no Chelsea.
Also, I learn to like Chelsea since they were in difficult period( 2010-2011).
For example in Champion League, I supported Juventus when they played vs Chelsea! :hee

Too, defeat of Liverpool this after noon... :-_-
