You serious? :oh

Yeah, he just seems like a bitter asshole unless there's another story behind it like losing a bet or something.
Sadly, I am serious. It just looked like a random guy to me.

Probably, unless it's him trying to claim that the reason that he didn't win the WC with Argentina was all Messi's fault. Messi was pretty awful in that WC, but he wasn't the only one who failed.

Higuain was better than him, yeah. Messi had a couple assists, Argentina was just unlucky to run into Germany in the quarterfinals. One could say they had it easy in the Group stage though.

Yeah, but it's not as if Argentina was even in Germany's class in that much. They were beaten soundly, regardless of Messi's talent, on every area of the pitch, and at the level Messi played at, Argentina was outclassed in all 11 positions.

Even England were better than Argentina in that WC.

You mean the same England side that only scored 2 goals in the Group stage and wasn't able to win theirs, and lost in the Round of 16 with the likes of the US, Slovakia, South Korea, Japan, and Chile?

Sorry, no.

Yeah, but at least England scored a goal against Germany to make it 2-1, and if the ref hadn't missed it, Lampard's goal would've made it 2-2. Who knows where the match would've gone from there. I know it ended 4-1, but...

Uhm, just in case, the Maradona picture is fake...

Real One:

Everyone in Argentina and all around the world is faking it just for the laughs (obviously), but I didn't think someone would fell for it :lmao

With a decent DT we would had been at least in the best 4...

Hey, we beat the crap out of México, what about England?

That WC was awful btw, Spain won playing poorly (Casillas deserved the best player award imo), they barely scored in the tournament and they almost got kicked out BY PARAGUAY.

Oh, that was not apparent, Hardy.

Yeah, it was an awful WC, but it happens.

Why's it so hard to believe he'd get smashed and make an ass out of himself in such a way? :derp

It crossed my mind, but it was more entertaining to believe it was real

Yeah...

But I'd say England's Group wasn't much more difficult than Argentina's and they only managed to win once, while Argentina swept it. I guess we're splitting hairs here, but I can't honestly say that England had a better WC than Argentina. They were of course both disappointing ones though.

Probably because no one cares about Maradona in the first place.

Obviously it was fake, but it was fun to discuss.

Yeah, i knew that pic had been prolly photo-shopped, but was funny nevertheless XDD
I just some minutes ago read Maradona's opinion about Ronaldo, but i had already seen yesterday if i am not mistaken Ferguson tactic to stop Ronaldo.

I will pay some attention to Manchester United vs Real Madrid tonight!

An OG by Ramos and then a horrible straight red decision in about a seven minute stretch.

And then Raphael makes a foul in his area and the ref doesn't call it.

I guess you were right as Ronaldo has scored in both legs.

Indeed, and not only that, but it's not Cakir's first questionable sending off in a CL match.

He sent off Terry and awarded Barca a very dubious penalty against Chelsea last season. Chelsea won the match, so the controversy wasn't that high, but if Chelsea had lost after those two decisions, it could've been a massive problem.

I wanted Real to win, but not like this. Manchester deserved to get through this phase.

Since I don't really like either of them I couldn't care less which of the two made it to the next round... considering all 180 minutes I'd say they've been about even. (One could easily argue for either side deserving to win the round without sounding completely phony, IMO.)

Manchester United is hardly impressing me this season despite their dominance in the league. I just don't like their system and style of play (I prefer teams with a strong midfield, like Barca, Bayern or Juve), plus, a good share of their fans are arrogant and haughty twats who rate their team WAY too high. (It's always fun to check out the good ol' RedCafe and see some kids there plan their next Champions League title when they haven't even passed the last sixteen... :oh)

And Madrid is a real darkhorse for me this season. They're a far weaker side than last year and they screwed up their chances for La Liga in the first 5 games or so, but they have a good momentum lately. Some matches they play very nice, other times they totally suck...
I'd been comparing them to a dangerous, wounded predator and I stick to the comparison. - That team got what it takes to snatch the title in the end! (With a bit of luck, that is.) They will need to stay absolutely focused and get their act together in the defense.

--

Dortmund played it cool. But even though Donetsk was weak today there were times when Dortmund's defense did not look too stable/solid. Still, kudos to those bees. I somehow have this feeling we'll end up facing them in one of the next rounds. At least, that's what my gut tells me... :/

I can understand all of that.

Prince, there are quite a few more rational United fans I know who believed before today's loss that the treble was definitely theirs, regardless of the fact that Bayern should still crush United.
