Some really poor refereeing down the stretch, but in the end, Arsenal, for as well as they played today, shot themselves in the foot in the first leg.

LOL it was a mistake of our goalkeeper Helton. Go check it. He is completely out of position. It might had been a nice goal, but Helton in less than 5 min managed to screw so much. And i actually like him, but he just plainly sucked.
Minutes before referee had denied a goal to Malaga, where Helton had also screwed like hell.

Arsenal actually winning the match surprised me, I was pretty sure we'd get creamed( sorry Imp, but I don't share the same faith as you do). I'm sorta happy we're the first team to beat Munich in 20+ matches(iirc) but that doesn't mean anything if we're not progressing to the latter stages of the tournament and yet again fall at the first hurdle of the knockouts. I hope this victory though, gives the team some much needed motivation and resurgence to mount a fight for 4th place.

Yeah totally. Every questionable challenge was called for Inter, none for Spurs. Freidel wasn't necessarily aces in goal either though. This team isn't much without Bale.

Bale carries them as much as Suarez has had to carry Liverpool for most of the season. At least Suarez has more help now, Spurs has no quality strikers -.-

Not really in my opinion. I wouldn't have argued if he was given a PK for it, but his actions didn't scream to me that he was only trying to take him out. But it's a good thing it didn't cost them winning.
