I agree. Not a fan, but kinda amazed at seeing Liverpool in such a situation tbh
I'm more like a Barça fan instead
Brendan strikes me as the type of dude who may be good tactical wise, but has poor man management, and a successful manager is someone who's tactically good and can manage his men well
The more Brendan stays in Liverpool, the shittier the club will be, they're giving a lunatic to right to waste money for nothing. He should've been sacked this summer considering the players they bought and wasted money on, and the same again will happen this summer. And Liverpool isn't United when it comes to their economic power
Top 3 will be between Chelsea/Arsenal/City... Although Pellegrini and City owners proved themselves to be fools so far with their recruitement policy
Tbh, he should've been sacked the next day after we lost 6-1 against Stoke. That was intolerable. We didn't lose like that for years. Moreover, Dalglish was sacked even though he won the carling cup, led the team to the final of the FA cup and finished 7th while Rodgers finished 6th and won nothing at all and even got us out of the UCL miserably.
It also has to be said that Dalglish had a far (x10) better reputation than him at the club since he was a legend for this club. Yet despite all of this, he was sacked and Rodgers wasn't ? I couldn't understand that tbh.
The transfer committee was also to be blamed on several occasions and Rodgers also is part of this committee. Take the signing of Mamadou Sakho for instance. I'm also a fan of Ligue 1 and my favourite team there is Marseille but I also frequently watch PSG games. Thiago silva expressed how he preferred to play with Alex rather than Sakho. Later on, Marquinhos was bought. After that, Sakho himself decided to go and for a price which was said to be quite exaggerated. (19m I think )Many thought that his true value was between 6-8m and that he was leagues below Thiago Silva. Also, I had the occassion to watch him play some games for PSG before he left and my impression of him was that he was an average player.
On the other hand, I find him a little better here at Liverpool than at PSG but he's still the average type of player who will not be able to help the team to reach the top. The day I heard Liverpool bought him, I was shocked.
I still remember the days where we had world-class defenders like Hyppia and Agger, it's no longer the case now. Perhaps this is why I find him average, because when I had the chance to see players like Agger and Hyppia in action, I automatically find this kind of player to be average.
Talking about Brendan, you remember when he said that since Tottenham spent more than 100m, they should be challenging for the title ? Last season, his own words came back to haunt him. It's all just talk coming from him. Bringing on Iago Aspas during the last 10 minutes against Chelsea is a reason of why people think of him as being completely clueless.
@bold, For the 2013-2014 season, It would seem that a world-class Suarez and an in-form Sturridge were hiding his incompetence and that's why he seemed to be tactically good because for the 2014-2015 season (last season), he's been tactically outsmarted by many other managers.

Yup. Hopefully, Benteke will be able to score 15-20 goals this season. He's overall a better player than Higuain IMO. He's a good player and with Sturridge's return, we'll be able to improve our attack. Origi looks promising and Ibe little by little, is proving that he has the potential to be special.Genius to sell Sterling at that price...Insanity to buy Benteke at that price. Maybe he'll come good, maybe not...at least we didn't buy Higuain![]()
