Btw, Ronaldo is back on the fields and in thirty minutes already scored :P
Let's see if he can keep playing, hopefully without scoring goals against Flamengo ><

Ronaldo could have easily been in the top 5 greatest football players of all time if it wasn't for his weight and injuries, but he easily makes it in the top 10.

^ u guys talking about Brasils Ronaldo? If yeah then IMO he is in my top 5 footballers of all time. He does have the record for most goals scored in World Cup play. In the last World Cup he proved to me he's arguebly the best ever, he was fat and getting old and he still scored some goals and claimed the record. Speaking of favorite footballers, u guys know Eric Cantona, he's my favorite of all time. Hes been my fav player since I started watching football.

I'm not from the time of Cantona, but I've seen some good stuff in compilations. My fav footballers since I began watching football were Batistuta, Bergkamp, Nistelrooy, Rivaldo, Figo, Rui Costa, Totti and Del Piero (And I'm probably forgetting alot of them :P). The reason I'm not el Gordito's number one fan is coz I hold a grudge from the time he left Inter... and I think he doesnt take his job as seriously as he should, being one of the most talented players Ever

Liverpool was sensational against Real. Cannavaro wont forget what Torres did to him on the 3rd minute! :O
Sporting CP did something amazing today... they managed to get an even worse result than last matchday... 7-1!

I'm glad Drogba scored again. It was an entertaining match, though it would have been more exciting if it weren't for the fact that Juventus had to score two more goals after Chelsea scored their goal. And Drogba's free kick has been the subject of debate, whether it was a goal or not. It looked like it was over the line to me, but it was called off, so I'm glad Lampard set up for a goal from Essien a few minutes later.

I didn't expect Real to lose so badly though. Not to mention Bayern winning with 12-1 against Sporting.
12 goals in two games is pretty crazy.

I'm looking forward to Barcelona's game tomorrow.

No bad thinking. It a most that we go through, i will cry a river if we don't. :D

I don't really see why we wouldn't go through, we playing at old trafford. We are health, with Vidic back from suspension too. We are clearly the stronger team and i think we are playing the best football i have ever seen from us. Go Man U.

Well, i think this is somewhat of a good thing. It shows that PL is the strongest league, which makes Man U "wining" it(PL) a lot more awesome.

But Real were unimpressive in the two matches. They wasted countless amount of chances and there defense was simply pathetic.

Yeeaaahhh! 1-0 in less than four minutes. Go, United! Heh, 2-0 in the fourth minute of the second half. I love the consistency. XD

I was disappointed with the Juventus match. I'm a huge fan of Nedved and am sad he wasn't able to play most of his last CL game.

Vucinic disqualified Roma but he gained the trophy "The Worst Penalty Kick of the History".

That was unfortunate for him, but Vucinic is definitely one of the best strikers in the world right now. Happens to everyone to miss a penalty.

Am I the only one tired of English teams in the quarter finals? God I hope the draw reveals Porto vs Vilarreal... otherwise it'll be almost impossible to get further in CL. Still, another great match by Porto, drying every attacking player of Atletico Madrid, which was something not Barça nor Real Madrid did

Yeah, that definitely was the worst penalty i have seen. That was just pathetic.

But anyways, Man Utd won, that's all that matters.

My bet:
Atlético Madrid - FC Porto (yes, this is just faith... some1 take aguero out of atletico in january pleeeease!)
Chelsea - Juventus - (chelsea's getting very regular in the CL's latter rounds in recent years, and Juve isnt That strong)
Sporting - Bayern Munich -(hope not, but I dont see Sporting's average defenders stopping the ultimate attack double Klose & Toni)
Real Madrid - Liverpool -(L'pool>RM in CL for the last decade, and I dont see signs of a turn around on this RM's terrible season)
Internazionale - Man. United - (I feel like this is Inter's time to bright. For too long they havent won a thing on this level)
Villarreal - Panathinaikos -(Villarreal is clear favorite imo)
Lyon - Barcelona - (unless Messi gets injured on the meantime)
Arsenal - Roma (hard to tell, but if we see Arsenal on a day yes it's doom for Roma)
I missed Inter vs Man U, tough that was a tough bet. 7/8 was nice!

I hope MU avoid the English teams, while Liverpool face Chelsea, hopefully Barcelona play Bayern, and we play Porto.

lol.

I remember a time when it was a major achievement for English clubs to still be in European competition this far into the season.

Hell I remember when English clubs weren't allowed to play European football. They're just picking up where they left off from in 1985. The ban was harsh on some clubs. Everton were on the brink of glory. They never recovered from the Heysel ban.

Go Man U

Question, is Barcelona really really good or does the spanish league just suck. Every game I watch they score minimum 2 goals, and thats rare. Ive seen 4 plenty of times. I watch BarcaTV and they show old and new matches.

U guys know what sucks. DirectTV. I supposedly have every channel, but guess what I dont. I thought I did, but I dont. I have FSC, ESPN2 and GolTV which play almost everything. They play Uefa tournaments, English premiere, the Spanish, Italian, German, MLS, and more. But for some reason I dont have this channel called Setanta, and guess what, that the only channel the Man U vs Liverpool game is on. And I cant just order the game I have to order this Setanta package which is $14.99/month. And they also play National games. I hate this, they told me I have every channel and Im already paying over a hundred a month

It's gonna be awesome to see Liverpool play around with Chelsea then.

Chelsea > Liverpool in Premier League
Liverpool > Chelsea in Champions League

Was awesome! Good that Dossena could score even though he was a substitute. If he top his form curve he will be a great addition in CL.
