I was there at the match; albeit I was working but got to see the game. Birmingham played really well and deserved the point.

I was really rooting for Wigan yesteday and wanted Arsenal to keep a clean sheet. They didn't play particularly good and no one player stood out. It's good to end the year on a high note though.

It's nice to see the Belgians in England:
-> Ritchie De Laet got his chance not so long ago (what do the Manu fans think about him)...
-> Thomase Vermaelen is doing a good job in arsenal (oh I remember an arsenal fan in NY who was so lyric about him)
-> Kompany and dedryck bouyata in the FA cup match with man city (heck, we never heard about the last one up until now )
-> Fellaini (he needs to get a new haircut, I am getting sick of it)

HAHAHA, I can't believe I only watched the last 20 minutes of that game in fear of Leeds being hammered. They played really well though; from what I saw.

Arsenal played it very close too, for a while there I thought we weren't gonna make it through but the big guns came through for us. Now off to Stoke!!!

Chelsea were in no mood to play around though, crushing Watford 5-0.
And in Spain, I feared Real were gonna go top after Barca drew against Villareal, but Madrid never disappoints and they also drew

Yeah, I only saw it this morning and Adebayor was in tears, RIP Togo bus driver. The African Football Association say they won't cancel the tournament and Gordon Brown said he wants the Premier League's African players to return to their clubs cos he fears for their safety; as do I. It's really sad news.

Well it's official. Togo have withdrawn. Ghana are currently meeting to decide whether play. ivory Coast and Burkina Faso are also planning to the meet with CAF over whether they feel safe to play in Cabinda. Mali are also spitting blood since they have to play their final group game there.

What a way to start the tournament. I only had half an eye on the stream after they went 3-0 up, but aroud 88 i looked it was 4-2 and ended up watching the craziest end to a game ever. Mali 4 - Angola 4

That must of brought some excitement to the torunament after the last couple of days were filled with panic. I haven't seen all the highlights yet, so I'll get onto that right now.

I watched the highlights yesterday evening on the BBC...damn that was a good game! A great opening game to start the tournament I must admit - even moreso after the tragic events beforehand.
