Hm, dunno if ya'll pay attention to the American league/MLS much, but beckham is going to be playing over here =D I'm pretty excited, I think it'll generate a lot more interest in the US league. I know I'll be trying to catch a game to watch him play =D

I heard the news about Serie-A match being suspended for this week due to the riot that happened after Catania vs Palermo derby. A policeman that lost his life after a homemade bomb exploded on his face. Can anyone shed some more light on the situation in Italy now?

You got it right. Except that it's not suspended just for this week, and it's not only Serie A. Every Italian league from Serie A to the lowest categories have been undefinitely suspended. Until they find a way to prevent this to happen again, there will be no football in Italy, not even the national team. This is a very sad day for me... T_T

Yeah I was shock too when I heard the news. From what I read, the bomb was thrown into the policeman car! Man, I thought english hooligans was bad but this is beyond that.

Yes he did, Epul. I was kinda scared when Keane got away from Rio Ferdinand. But O'Shea came thru and made an awesome interception. I hope Van Der Sar will be alright. Utd will need him for the Champions League.

Yeah it is a worry. I hope van der sar is ok. but i am not that worried. united still have kuszack who is in my opininon is a good goalkeeper himself.

I'm all for more girls playing soccer.
Female soccer players have incredible bodies.. and it's not all muscle-freaky like other sports either, it's muscle in areas where it counts <3

It's gonna be hard for Man Utd to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to another club unless they got two or three other player with the same or better skill. Sir Alex would be reluctant to let Ronaldo go unless for a really high price, or better player(s). I think we'll be seeing Ronaldo (not to be confused with the recently acquired Milan player) in Old Trafford for many seasons to come. Now all they need is build a team around him, like Wenger did by handpicking players to support Henry.
