Israel beat Russia 2-1. Steve McCLaren must be very relieved with that result. Now England has a good chance to qualify. They probably just need a draw in the next game....Lucky England......

Portugal ended up with the qualification with a home 0-0... very dangerous. Our coach seemed to be defending the tie, but that's so dangerous that's almost crazy

Heh...Yeah it's look preety hot in Group 6, it's payback or repetition for England.It'd be a real shame for them to lost their place in WC against the same team that same that lost them their Euro tickets.

I assume you are interested about Australia's draw.
In case you don't know, Australia moved to the more competitive asian region.
There are 5 pools of 4 teams. Australia is in pool A with Iraq, China and Quatar.

The top 2 teams of each pool are qualified for the next round. The 10 teams are splitted in 2 pools. The best 2 team of each pool are qualified for the World Cup. The 3rd ranked team play a play-off. The winner of the playoffs play another playoff against the best Oceanian team to go the World Cup.

Well, for the Oceanian region, the qualifications started earlier. Only 4 teams remain in competition for the playoff against an asian team (Oceania only has 0.5 spot for the World Cup against 4.5 for Asia). Obviously, New Zealand is dominating the competition. New Caledonia is second ahead of Fidji and Vanuatu.
