So, yesterday I was feeling a tad bit bored and nostalgic.... so I decided to take out my Sega CD in order to play some Sonic CD(which is the best Sonic game EVER!). As I was hooking it up and for some reason beyond my knowledge, I plugged the AC adapter into a outlet before connecting it to the console... so when I went to plug the cord into the console there was a spark. It now no longer works. Apparently, due to my stupidity, I must of fried something... Now, I'm in mourning...

Just rented Godfather 2 this weekend.

Not bad but repetitive and pretty short. Wouldn't reccommend it for anything more then renting.

Wii is only good for Wii bowling and playing old school nes/snes/genesis games to begin with... so another console getting into the motion control business really isn't that big a deal.

Anyways, without a controller and buttons to press, aren't the games going to be extremely limited to just swatting at something?

I mean, controllers/buttons + motion control give you so many more options than just motion control and voice command right?

Not at all
The Wiimote was only about reckless swinging, pointing and shaking, nothing more. Natal is a completely different thing. The Milo tech demo showed that, many, many other possibilities. Face recognition, voice, movement...why would you need buttons or hold something?
(although i really hope it doesnt end up as another stupid EyeToy...but i guess this is up to the developers).

random question: Doesn't Michael Jackson own The Beatles catalog?

About the MS motion control thing... Sure the motion control system looks more accurate and all, but in games like Zelda: Twilight Princess... how are you going to move the character around without some kind of controller?

Besides... I think most people that play games are tired of the whole motion control thing. It was a nice gimmick and all, but at the end of the day, when I want to play a game... I want to sit on my couch and do a minimal amount of movement.
