Well vintage, it depends from game to game, some games are more fun with movements, others aren't.

xBox is going to have an MS motion control, thats stupid. Just let Wii take care of that. I can see people throwing thier xbox controllers threw the tv cuz they're soo much thicker and wider and weigh more

I have a wii and Im soo sick of it. Nothing beats just sitting on a couch/chair, not moving a muscle except the fingers. I play my PS3 way more. Only when friends come over we play Wii. Some games like Mario Galaxy are fun, but Im not about all the other crazy games that Nintendo has

About the MS motion control thing... Sure the motion control system looks more accurate and all, but in games like Zelda: Twilight Princess... how are you going to move the character around without some kind of controller?

Hm...did you see the kid holding a skateboard in his living room, and voila, the skateboard was also inside the game? Now you'll be able to hold a real sword replica or just a mop if you feel like it, and swing it around instead of holding a wiimote/nunchuck pair.
Of course, every game will be adapted to a certain kind of control ;p

Besides... I think most people that play games are tired of the whole motion control thing. It was a nice gimmick and all, but at the end of the day, when I want to play a game... I want to sit on my couch and do a minimal amount of movement.

I don't think the standart controllers will ever vanish...motion is just a plus, and a nice thing to have in certain games. After all, even the Wii has a "classic" controller, right? Motion is not fit to every game, and I think the developers know that.

But the fact that now we'll be able to have motion control in a decent piece of hardware is awesome. I believed in the Wii, but well...

I don't know... maybe I'm just letting my Sony fanboyism cloud my vision, but I really don't see it as being that special. Plus, I would like to see a actual live demo of it rather than the pre-maid videos I've seen so far. I'm skeptical about everything looking so fluid and easy to do.

How old is L4D? it seems like it just came out yesterday... feels kinda soon to becoming out with a sequel, right?

L4D was a pretty short game, that's why. Only 4 campaigns. At least it had (and still has) awesome multiplayer mode, so it was still worth the money.
LD42 looks AMAZING. Chainsaw and frying pan? YESPLEASE. XD

And I wouldn't be surprised if Sony comes up with motion sense hardware too, they must be envious. >D

They probably will... but it'll probably suck. It'll just be a basic Wii style system so that they can compete with Nintendo in Japan. No innovation or progress what-so-ever.

Anyways, as long as Team ICO makes a showing - I could care less. They made ICO and Shadow of the Collosus for the PS2 and have a new game coming(Project Trico) out sometime in the future. There was a trailer leaked a couple of weeks ago, but it was actually from last years e3 expo... Apparently they only showed it to a select few journalists who somehow managed to keep it a secret.

Project Trico's trailer looks amazing... and if its any kind of foreshadowing like the Nico trailer( basically a Shadow of the Collosus tech demo)... than I'll be one happy camper.

Oooh SotC was an awesome game, graphics and everything WOW! ICO was also wicked, a friend of mine heard about "Trico" and that looks/sounds like something REALLY worth the money..

I own a XBOX360 (trying to ressurect it from RRoD), but I'm not liking NATAL project, I don't think the idea suits good for hardcore and fighting games.

Asides from both games mentioned (and Golden Sun DS), it was an epic fail. Mario Mario Mario 2nd grade FF more Kingdom Hearts Mario Mario...

AND WTF, VITALITY SENSOR? Die Nintendo. ¬¬ So boring.


Sony's has just started, and there's this fps with 256 players at once...impressive o_o

Compared to what they showed last year(wii music), the Wii looks awesome.

The sad thing about the vitality sensor is that they'll sell millions of them. Something so stupid, yet such a economical success.

256 players = lag in the real world. If it can be pulled off - that would be really cool. But at the same time, it seems like way too many people playing a FPS game at once. We'll just have to wait and see... if done correctly it would be interesting.

That depends on the mapsize? Well yeah some Battlefield Vietnam maps x 3 in size?

Jeez imagine everyone only have 1life, no resurrections.. That'd be a lot of strategy and camping and stuff, important houses and strategical important areas to take over... I'm getting a lot of pictures inside my head

Now I'm torn between the PS3 and Xbox. Thought no one would beat MS's presentation from yesterday, but Sony was also awesome.

Mag just looks overly complicated... like it would be hard to just jump right in and play.

Instead of 256 players at once, just give be 20 players and couple thousand zombies to kill and I'd be super happy.

Sometimes simplistic things are so, so much more fun than complicated things.

FFXIV - its a mmo so does anyone really care about its exclusivity or to be honest, it?

PSPgo - $250... seems kinda expensive, but I still want one.

Sony motion control - Live demo = win. Controllers with tennis balls on them = fail
