It looks like Sega has finally decided to have Sonic goes back to his roots. Apparently Sonic is the only playable character and the concept art looks pretty good. Knowing Sega though, they'll find a way to mess it up.

Speaking of Sonic... did anyone else hear that Michael Jackson wrote/contributed chords to Sonic 3... thats pretty awesome.

I just finished Capcom's Dark Void. It's an enjoyable and rather amusing game.

The game tries out some vertical shooting (I don't know how else to put it) which I've never seen before, it might be annoying and strange at the start, but throughout the game it became more normal. Just like the flying missions, I couldn't get the hang of it at the start, but as the game progressed I got more and more attached to my jetpack. :3

I didn't like the ending though, I'm not going to spoil, but damn.. I expected the usual ending in a game like this.

A good game, I'd rate it a 7. Nothing more, it's nothing fancy, but it ain't crap either.

Anyone else played this?

Is anybody as excited about this as I am?

Its a shame that as of right now its only going to be on the Wii... but still, NBA JAM was a hugely fun game. I hope the remake stays true to its predecessor and they don't try to over due the revamp. I'd hate to see it turn out like the TMNT game that came out recently.

Oh Man! this brings back memories boy. I had NBA Jam on the SNES lol, fun times. Thanks for the article vintage! I hope it comes to the PS3 soon

I honestly haven't even played Mass Effect 1. Yes, yes I am ashamed, but because of that I can't buy nr.2. I honestly can't be arsed with two games at the moment, but Mass Effect 1 & 2 are definitely on my "get it" list.

On a side note, I signed up for the beta testing of Final Fantasy XIV some weeks ago. Can't wait for that game!

No need to play the 1st game. It was a bit disappointed with it. Bunch of bugs, the sniping was awful, flaws in the game mechanics but overall it was a decent game. I've heard tons of good stuff from the 2nd so you don't need to wait and play the first game first. However, the story is pretty cool and I bet that the second game gets better when you compare it to the first than if you just play it without putting it into the context.

That's very true. I can't believe I didn't think about that

I think I'll do that and buy Mass Effect 2. I can't be arsed to clear the 1st before the 2nd at this point. Maybe later.

The story is actually pretty noob friendly, sure you'll enjoy the story more but ME2 is waaaaaay better than the original. It plays like crap compared to the second one

That's strange, in most reviews I've read, the reviewer wrote that the story was better in the 1st, but every other aspect of the game was improved in the 2nd. I'm still just gonna read up and spoil the 1st game with the help of my dear friend wikipedia.org.

Sega's Project Needlepoint is finally revealed to be Sonic the Hedgehog 4. It will be released on all three game systems in July. Hopefully, it will do Sonic justice.

Square-Enix is working on five unannounced games. Two of them will be released in 2010. I wonder if one of these five unannounced games is the sequel to KHII.

According to this article, the new Zelda game will be a WiiMotionPlus exclusive, whch will be revealed at E3 and it might be playable. The game will be out at the end of the year.
