Is it me or do the game really like Deadpool? He seems to win most of the times. ^^

More news:

- Capcom has trademarked the name, Comuken, which appears to be a social networking services for players to find competitors for fighter games or it's an online game based on the comments.

- Square Enix hinted that they have lots of announcements.

- One of Square Enix's announcement is the launch of a digital manga store in the US and France (I guess you can post the info elsewhere but I didn't know where to post it). Among the manga they will release are: Fullmetal Alchemist, Black Butler, Soul Eater, Pandora Hearts, Record of a Fallen Vampire, Spiral: Bonds of Reasoning, Sumomomo Momomo, and O-Parts Hunter. You can preview the website if you have a Square Enix membership. Pricing has not been determined so far.

- Marvel reveals two new characters for MvC3 - Amaterasu (though I wouldn't mind if they have added Okamiden ) and Thor.

O yea, we all should have seen Thor coming now that they are going to have the movie coming out. It looks like they are assembling the Avengers in this game, I guess they are hoping the movie and the game can go hand in hand in effecting each others sales??? Amaterasu looks pretty interesting. Isn't he that wolf thats from that game where your like paint your way through the universe??? Or am I mistaken .

^Yep, that's the game but I thought Amaterasu is a girl. Anyway, there is some new gameplay footage for the game.

The new Zelda game is a prequel to Ocarina of Time.

Yeah Amaterasu! XD I want to some vids, where we can see her change the weapons or if it predetermined with what she's fighting in the character selection. She's talked to like a female, she's said to be the mother of life, so it should be a she, even if the character is gernderless.

There were already a lot of Avengers charcters in the previous games, so it's not something suprising to see them again.

You can watch live game footage here. It looks like there might be a total of 36 characters if I counted the boxes in the Character Select correctly.

Frank Tieri, a comic book writer, will be writing the storyline in the game. He hinted that there will be Street Fighter and Resident Evil villians in the game. Any guesses on who you think they'll be? I think they will be Akuma and Albert Wesker.

A fourth Disgaea game might be announced at the Tokyo Game Show.

Dead Rising 2 will be out on Sept. 28th in NA and Oct. 1st in Europe. The X-Box 360 version will have an exclusive prologue chapter, Case Zero, DLC.

I'm checking the liveblog of Capcom's panel. Here are some info:

- New costumes for SSFIV. According to 1UP and G4, Rufus looks like a big blueberry from Willy Wonka, Blanka is wearing a giant feather cape, and Ryu has long, black pants and a Hulk-like ripped costume.

- Capcom won't reveal the new characters for the arcade version of SSFIV until Tokyo Game Show.

- There is a new Street Fighter game: Street Fighter 3, Third Strike, Online Edition .

- ...and the rumor has been confirmed: Street Fighter X Tekken (Street Fighter Cross Tekken) and Tekken X Street Fighter. Both games will be different; the latter will be made by the Tekken developers.

I think she meant that there won't be a game. Not even filler games or anything. We will get one year off and then the next year would be AC3. Honestly I think thats reasonable because AC Brotherhood is virtually a blessing. its a filler game but it looks like its going to be amazing and it goes beyond what the average filler game is usually like. Their will probably DLC for Brotherhood but that would be made already in 2010 and you'd probably get it in spring of 2011.

Lets play Co-op Borderlands

Anybody heard of this super awesome game in which you can go with 3 other friends and pwn enemies, its a RPG shooter and there are like a million weapons. something like WOW rare items,

I am playing it currently on coop on Tunggle and its super awesome, you wont regret it, here is a trailer for the game.

It's like Arrogance wrote. According to Ubisoft, they don't want Assassin Creed to be like Guitar Hero and overexpose it to the public, which might turn them off on the game. They will probably have DLCs and whatnot but not another game for awhile.

In other news, Street Fighter X Tekken will be out in 2012 and Tekken X Street Fighter will be released in 2013. The gameplay for the former game will have 2 on 2 fights and an "assist" feature, which will help players make difficult moves. Both games might have "early generation" characters. A clip of Dragon Age II has been posted though some people are having trouble viewing it fyi.

I forgot to mention this but according to Inafune, the concept of Mega Man Universe is to let you play the "Mega Man of your dreams", which probably means that you design your own Mega Man. The game will be for the PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

Speaking of Capcom, they are planning to speed up their game developments from 4 years to 1-2 years.

Nintendo has trademarked the name, Crosspass, which might be the new name for Tag Mode.

- God of War: Ghost of Sparta will be released on Nov. 2nd.

The preorder bonuses for this game are: OST, a PSP theme, a PS3 dynamic theme, a PSN Kratos avatar, and a Legionnaire skin for Kratos to use in the game. It will also contain a documentary with the people who made the game.

Sony will also release a PSP bundle (GoW: GoS Entertainment Pack), which will include the game and a black and red two-toned PSP-3000, a d/l code for GoW: Chains of Olympics, Kick-Ass movie UMD, and a 2 GB memory stick pro duo.

Sonic Colors will be out on Nov. 16th and if you preorder the game at Gamestop, you'll get a "lovely" Sonic hat. You can also view the game play, but beware: the music is cheesy.

Some more info about Kid Icarus: Uprising. Icarus will be able to use a wide variety of different weapons. Players can shot with long-range weapons and strike with short-range weapons. For the former, you can either use charge shots or consecutive shots.

Capcom and Namco will premiere Street Fighter X Tekken at Gamescom, which is in Cologne, Germany. They will also have two tournaments: one for SSFIV and other for Tekken 6.

Some Batman Arkham 2/ Arkham city info for you

Arkham City takes place one year after the events of Arkham Asylum. The warden from the first game, Quincy Sharp, is now mayor of Gotham City, and he purchased a large portion of the city's slums to build a new criminal facility. "Arkham City," as it is called, houses all the insane prisoners previously found on the asylum before Joker left it in ruins. Psychiatrist Hugo Strange is now heading the new facility, and the only rule the prisoners are given is not to escape, leaving them to fend for themselves inside the guarded walls within the city.

Two-Face is confirmed for Arkham City, and is battling Joker and other key villains as they recruit inmates to join their respective gangs. Catwoman, meanwhile, will play Batman's love interest, and will team up with him throughout the game. Is she friend or foe? It's unclear what Catwoman's motives really are.

Most of Batman's weapons and gadgets from the first game will return for the sequel, and he'll actually start the game with them all. Those weapons can receive further upgrades. New gadgets include a Bat Claw that can fetch items too far away and a broadcast analyzer to track transmissions.

The combat will also see several new additions, including simultaneous counters, gadget incorporation (such as spraying explosive gel on enemies), and projectile counters from inmates that throw things at you from afar.

Arkham City will have many side-quests involving key characters, harder, more advanced Riddler trophies that involve puzzle solving, and more varied enemy types.

- Hideo Kojima hinted that there will be a big announcement this weekend and no, it's not ZOE3.

- Some more screenshots of Street Fighter X Tekken.

- Call of Duty: Black Ops has two special editions.

The Harden Edition will have a custom Black Ops LE medal, an exclusive Black OP costume for Live or Home, and four cooperative playable maps.

The Prestige Edition will contain the HE extra as well as a tiny remote control "video surveillance vehicle", RC-XD. The vehicle has a range of about 200 feet and a fully-functioning remote camera that transmits both color video and audio.

- Brazil is finally selling the PS3 but it cost $1130. Ouch!

- Apparently Sony is going to make a Playstation phone. Now there is a rumor that Nintendo and Nokia are working together to make a phone as well.

- Irrational has revealed Project Icarus to be Bioshock: Infinite.

BioShock Infinite is a first-person shooter set in 1912. It introduces a new narrative and gameplay experience that “lifts players out of the familiar confines” of Rapture and sets them in Columbia, an immense city in the sky.

Former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt has been sent to rescue Elizabeth, a young woman imprisoned in Columbia since childhood. Booker develops a relationship with Elizabeth, “augmenting his abilities with hers” so the pair may escape the city which is literally falling from the sky.

DeWitt must learn to fight foes in high-speed Sky-Line battles, engage in combat both indoors and amongst the clouds, and harness the power of dozens of new weapons and abilities.

I'm not too sure about Bioshock: Infinite, the title itself sounds kinda dumb and I don't see how it belongs in the Bioshock universe the game takes place in an alternate reality. And Rapture sounds way cooler than Columbia, but I guess it could be good if 2K Marin is doing it

- Guerrillla Game is going to make a PS3-exclusive game and it's not related to Killzone.

Crysis 2 will have a limited edition and a Nano Edition

The Limited Edition release of Crysis 2 will include bonus in-game experience points to "immediately boost the player up to Rank 5, giving access to all the preset class loadouts," a digital camo weapon skin, the SCAR Hologram Decoy weapon attachment, which can project a moving holographic mirror of the player, and a unique, in-game platinum dog tag.

Those who go Nano will get a copy of Crysis 2, an 11" Prophet statue, an art book and the special Nanosuit backpack modeled after the in-game super suit. The Nano Edition includes the Limted Edition version of Crysis 2, so all those aforementioned goodies will be yours no matter which version you buy.
