Apparently the PS4 will supposedly be developed at the end of this year and comes out next year (probably in Japan; next year for us if this is true). There is a rumor that the new console will have Kinect-style motion controls.

You should put "rumor" at the beginning as Digitimes can't be taken serious, as Kotaku can't be too. A release in 2012, but no presence on the E3?!

Sony has confirmed the PSN Pass program, which allows players to play online if they buy a game new, and Resistance 3 will be the first game to use it.

BTW, what is your opinion about Batman: Arkham City design of Robin?

I like it, his outfit looks simple and practical.

One of the major problems regarding Robin's normal appearance is that it's just not "stealthy" by any definition of the term, making him look a little out of place alongside Batman. The Arkham City reworked version looks a lot more functional.

From the comments I've read, most people are not happy about his personality though since it's much darker than what they're used to.

He does remind me of Cole from inFAMOUS and others said that he looks like Eninem or Starkiller.

Some KH info. KH3D will reveal some answers about KHIII, which will be Xehanort's last appearance. Sora will still be the series protagonist however.

So they've finally reduced the 3DS's price... about time! I'm still not sure if I should buy one yet though, as I'd much rather have the "Lite" version, that is if they ever produce one (though judging by the GB, GBA and DS, it seems as though they will). And I feel bad for all the fans who wanted to play Megaman Legend 3. Tough break...

They will, even if it takes one more year, it's not like there are that many notable games out that I have to buy it now.^^ I'm pretty sure that the lack of those is the reason, why the sales are so sluggish, but here it comes: Pirates don't see a reason to buy a 3DS, even though there is already a way to play pirated copies already. Even if nobody likes it, pirates help to sell hardware.

You should visit the GAF thread for the announcement of the price drop... traitors and attention whores to the core. As if people had bought it for one year only. -_-

Nintendo is going to release a flame red 3DS in September. Star Fox 64 3D will be included with the handheld.

I was just wondering, does the 3DS have a virtual console like the Wii? And if it does, by any chance are there GBA games available to download into the console? I really want to play FFV and FFVI for the GBA, but buying actual copies of those games is so money consuming. I mean a new copy of FFVI GBA costs 199£ on Amazon.co.uk!

They do have a virtual console but I'm not sure if any GB/GBA games are on it yet.

Well it's still good to hear that it has a virtual console. For some reason I dislike playing old games on a tv screen, but I certainly wouldn't mind playing them on a handheld.

Nintendo gave out ten or was it twenty free GB/GBA/GBC games out for early adopters of the 3DS, to late now, but a confirmation of some kind of virtual console, It's called eShop now.

Yeah, I've heard of it. It's called "Early Ambassador Program" iirc and you get it if you order the 3DS before Aug. 11st. It lasts until Sept. 9th, I believe? I need to check online just to be sure though.

Not with the lack of games right now, will wait for a revision, if ever. Two of my friends got one, so there's not really a need to buy one now. The PSV looks much more promising at the moment, as I don't own a PSP, but want to play a dozen of it's games.^^

Same here. The 3DS doesn't have a lot of games that really interests me but the Vita games really perks my interest.

I love my PSP. Valkyrie Chronicles II all by itself made it a worthwhile purchase for me.

I also love playing PSOne games on it. Final Fantasy VII and VIII in particular. Pity there is no Final fantasy VI(Though i think it was released in Japan, so maybe it will get released later.). Then the 2 PSP versions of the Disgaea games have been the icing on the cake. That's like 600 hours of gaming in those 4 games.

I would play through Breath of Fire IV, which was recently released for it, as well but with Disgaea 4 coming out in a few weeks there is just no way i will have time to beat it right now.

I think so. I haven't actually pre-ordered yet.

With a lot of games i just use Gamefly these days, since so many of them are the type of game you play once and never ever play them again. But Disgaea is so old school I always know that is a game i can play and play, and never really get tired of it. Plus, there is so much content there that maxing out everything is only possible in theory.

I mean, the level cap is 9999.

The figurine is lovely, but I had my share of Collector Editions this year..., pretty shocking to see titles go -50% after a short while[like two months]. What's the big difference between Fuka and the rest of the figurine set?
