Obvious choice is FUCKING OBVIOUS. Battlefield 3 of course.

You can get Modern Warfare 3 when it's in the budget box or something.

You're going to buy Battlefield 3? On a console or for the PC? I still haven't decided which one I should buy between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. :(
Battlefield of course. And I'm gonna play it on PC.
But I will get MW3 later on :D I get bored pretty easily, so a good FPS would be great to change the mood (I just hope that the campaign in both of them has a good story... and I doubt MW can come up with a better script than Black Ops).

I will also be getting Battlefield 3 on PC.

I hear the campaign is a bit cliched but I have a longstanding tradition of never playing the campaign mode on such games anyway. I get games like this sole for the multiplayer. And there is one aspect of it's mulitplayer that to me sets it apart from the rest of the FPS pack and that's the fact that it features 64 player matches.(Modern Warfare 3 has been confirmed to cap it at a lowly 18 players)

I like shooters that do things on a bigger scale where vehicles, planes, and such are not gimmicks but tactical necessities. It's why I loved MAG despite it's many flaws and it's why i loved the original Battlefield 1942 despite it's insane number of flaws. My greatest criticism of Battlefield 2 was that the players limit 24, which means 2 teams of 12 which is just not enough on many of the larger maps. Now that this has been fixed and the everything has been further streamlined, I'm all in on Battlefield 3.

--------------------------------------------

There is one problem though. No support of Windows XP. So in order to play it you have to have Vista or Windows 7. Which annoys me because I would really rather not go through the hassle of reformatting my gaming PC.

Well, the thing is that I'm playing the game with my friends online but the majority of them, are all going to buy MW3 and not BF3 because they aren't familiar with the Battlefield franchise, myself included.

And the other thing is that I don't have a good gaming PC. My PC had problems with the first Assassin's Creed!!! And I don't really want to spend a good amount of money just to enjoy Battlefield 3 in it's entire beauty.... :(

I have the minimum requirements and would still chose BF3 above COD3 every day of my live. 86,32% and going, seems like it will be a long night. Trying something new is that hard? No wonder people buy every single iteration year after year. Battlefield is like every WorldWar shooter, just better and made to be played with people working in squads/teams. :p

Someone wants to play together? Origin name: Gintamen (:D)

New Assassin's Creed: Revelations screenshots have been posted.

Ouch! Nintendo lost a lot of money ($926 million). :darn
Holy Crap!

Nintendo is destined to be the underdog forever.
Apparently not, those kinds of losses tend to precede bankruptcy. Make no mistake this is bad. Very very bad. Nintendo is not a big enough company to take a 1 billion dollar hit. Sony and Microsoft maybe.. but Nintendo just isn't big enough to withstand that.

Yeah, the 3DS sales really hurt Nintendo. They really need their newest Wii U to do well or else who knows what will happen?

Wii U did not really convince me either.I don't think it will crash as hard as the 3DS,but I doubt it'll bring the big success they're hoping for(/they're needing).

Agreed. I was disappointed by Nintendo's introduction of the console at E3. From what I'v read online, many people were confused and thought it was a new game controller (the tablet) for the Wii until they have to clarify it.

My brother bought the game (Battle-F***ing-Field 3) for me!!!:D That game is marvellous, I'm currently playing the multiplayer and it's really an awesome experience. At first I was a bit sceptic about the graphic on the PS3 but to my surprise it turned out to be better then expected. It's really addicting in a good way. :p

Battlefield 3 is the best FPS in the world. I say this before even trying MW3.

There is one thing which convinced me that wii u will fail. At least according to wikipedia, wii u will not support multiple player with the tablet like controller. It will support up to 4 wii controllers but due to price constraints it will be meant for only one wii u controller. I just cannot see what they are thinking with this. The success of the wii was aiming for family gaming, how can a console which supports only one controller do that. I have no doubt that playing with the new controller would be epic but they need to have multiplayer with that controller....

I agree. I generally dislike the wii u. I think it looks horrible and the overall idea of the console is a disappointment to say the least. Those controllers are going to be ridiculously expensive. Especially, if say you accidentally damage one or break the screen. Ouch. I was hoping that they would focus on improving the wii console itself rather than going with a completely different console in itself. Sure, there are similarities but the "family" fun factor was key to the success of the original wii and I can't see that being replicated with this new one.

This is a console I would try out in a shop or exhibition show but I would never see myself purchasing one. \o/

Did you guys read this?

One of the explosive Modern Warfare 3 missions takes place in Paris – but it seems that crooks have created their own Call of Duty-style scenes in the French capital for real, stealing £600,000-worth of the blockbuster game.
Two trucks delivering copies of the game to stores were targeted by armed gangs in separate incidents in the Paris suburbs on Saturday morning.
The first robbery saw bandits disguised with ski masks ram a delivery truck to make the driver stop and inspect the damage, according to Le Parisien newspaper.

Yep, I read about it two days ago. I'm sure they'll find the culprits sooner or later.
