Just started playing Dragon Quest VIII on PS2. So far, me loves it!

It's a good game BUT i still haven't beaten it and I bought it way back when it came out just be prepared to sink in hours of playtime in just leveling up but when you get the boat and are able to fly the views are amazing

I am playing FFXII again picking it up from where I left off and now all of a sudden I'm in love with this game it has awesome views. The backgrounds are breathe-taking and the story is awesome.

Pretty good games <3 But battle blades and narutimate hero are more multiplayer games. They are not really games to be "finished". The best is it to play against a freind ^^

FF X is just totally awesome. You should really finish it! Its such an cool game

those multi player games require you to unlock characters... naruto has only 3 or 4 question mark spaces left i think, but bleach battle blades was just introduced to my cousins just a month ago and i haven't played it since...

ffx -> i was really excited when i got it for the first time but after i was introduced to the sphere grid systems & checked game faqs for the "perfect" build-up, i got quite shattered by the *effort* needed to max out the sphere grids and such ><
i tend to go for perfectionism on games i get really into
but ffx's storyline is really great i download the game script text files from gamefaqs just to read~

Oh well...the unlocking shouldnt take too long. Though I only played NH3 it took me like 8h to get all the characters. As for Bleach I think I got everyone exceot Aizen but you have to complete some wicked missions to get him...I think I just stopped to play it since only solo isnt fun. Also if I really need all characters I just download a savegame from the net and put it on my memory card xDDDD (Yeah I know I am lazy but 2player is just more fun^^)

I really understand your feelings for FFX because if it comes to RPGs I become a total perfectionist. You know getting every character to the best. All items and best equip. Thats probably the reason I never finished FFX I came to the point where you can max everything out. The only problem? Even you know who to do it takes ages to get to perfect. And its a waste of time to play 100-200h just to get perfect... xD

same thing here as a solo player majority of the time~

and you play phantom brave? its at least waaay more generous on leveling than summon night 4
though i never got to battle the optional characters coz i've gotta rush on to disgaea2 i just got that time

Oh I see.

Okay the point is. I just got this avatar from the net like a eternity ago. An then at some point I started using it but I could never relate it to a manga or game. Though I have to admit I just googled pictures for the game and similarities are given o.O (could really be possible that the artist got the idea from there...)

Hm I somehow could never really get into tactical games. FF Tactics is a good tactic game, isnt it?

ff tactics or tactics advance? i got those two messed up...but i've played both before its not too bad a story. the gameboy one is more of a "dreamland of an unfortunate child", but the playstation's is getting a remake for another system and it looks awesome though i won't be able to play it...(psp or ds i think >< )
the playstation's storyline is more medival-setup of a legend, and imo, better than the gameboy's. though the gameboy's is easier to complete
leveling wise isn't too difficult for both games~

if you played golden sun on the gba, i think ff tactics has a more captivating storyline compared to it

tactical games mostly give a feel of "take your own time~", so motivation to complete it is low / you probably won't replay it for too many times or miss it
