Seriously though, how I miss having time to play games. The last ones I played were Ocarina of Time for the 3DS and Alundra, and I haven't even had time to finish the latter yet. There are so many great games that I want to play that lately I've been feeling pretty sad

I recently brought the Walking Dead video game off the Xbox game marketplace a week ago, and I must say I freaking love this game. I've never played a game such as this one with a story so compelling and emotional that it'll bring tears to your eyes by the end of it. There are five episodes that make up the entirety of this game, and each can be brought and downloaded separately or all together. Telltale's does a brilliant job of leaving the decision making process up to the main protagonist (Lee) throughout the story. The extremely difficult choices that you are forced to make in each episode (some choices you have time to think about and others are quick out of time decisions) play a vital role in how the story plays out albeit to the same ending nonetheless. Also, they do a good job of adding twists and surprises; one character you might have grown to love throughout the duration of a few episodes could turn on you or get killed in the next. Every time you think the story is getting a little predictable a sudden curve ball is thrown at you. The dread and despair of a character getting killed off, left behind or becoming a walker (zombie) leave you cringing on the edge of your seat. Every character has something special about them, and when tragedy befalls one of them it's not only the group of survivors that mourn that one person but you the gamer as well. Sometimes you'll forget its just a game because the story is so captivating you'll feel as if you're an actual survivor inside of game. The game does suffer from technical issues from time to time. It happened to me at least twice, but it was no big deal. Also, the facial expressions in the game are a bit too exaggerated at times, so it may feel like a few scenes are a little off balance. The graphics in this game are nothing special at all, but Telltale still gets the point across. In conclusion, this is one of the best games I've played in a very long time. It's definitely a must buy for any gamer, and one of the best games to come out this year along side of Dishonored, Borderlands 2, Halo 4 or whatever. It's up!

telltale once again proofed that you don't need over-the-top-graphics or a gigantical game-world to make a top-game when you have great storytelling.

The Walking Dead was emotionally devastating.
It is Horror, but that's not what it focuses on, it's in my opinion the absolute ultimate Survival Game and in addition to that the character are actually believable.
Except for Lee, there are no Heroes just normal people that try to survive and NEED to rely on another to survive.
And the Players as Lee are the main factor to survive.
Shall we save Ben despite constantly screwing up let him die for doing so?
They are heartbreaking decisions at times.Especially the final one.

Should we let Clementine shoot us to spare the pain of becoming a Zombie or tell her to just leave us?

Anyway, I never played a game that made me crank up so bad.

Not to mention the "WHAT THE....." moments.

The Walking Dead would have been so much better if our choices really DOES affect the entire story and the directions it takes...unfortunately it doesn't,
in the end it was just an illusion that we can control the outcomes but the truth is the only thing we're controlling is the character development of Lee.
I'm not really complaining, I'm just saying it could be better. I played episode 1 to 5 all the way and even though there's moments where I was
baffled or stricken, there was really none that made me cry or feel extremely sad. Perhaps I'm a cold guy but it's still not one of the most emotional story out there.
Yet, you guys are right about it being a one of its kind, and a zombie story that focuses more on humanity than the walkers even up till the end.
Who's the real monsters? The zombies? Or the humans? There is no right answer to that question.

I have to say that I first have to adapt myself to that 3D look. New starters don't look that interesting. Would like to know what the story behind those legendaries is. Isn't it time for the next Pokemon movie too?

I have to say CD Projekt Red does love slow motion in their trailers....nonetheless, a pretty good trailer and I'm so pumped for this game...

It looks sweet, but I already got my Zelda bundle so I'm good.

I'm probably going to get one of those. It seems outrageous to buy a console for the sake of playing a single game but...I have to (it's Fire Emblem!). It's a shame the bundle seems to be only normal 3DS and not 3DS XL's.

Which do you have Riki, regular or XL?

And anybody think there is something I should know before I go ahead and buy one?

Yeah, I'm not a big 3D fan either. It makes me a feel a little motionsick or something.

What do you think of your 3DS? My last Nintendo handheld was a gameboy advance, which was bought to play Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones (totally worth it).

The Fire Emblem 3DS bundle will cost $200.

According to a rumor, Sony and Microsoft are going to reveal their next-gen consoles during the Game Developers Conference (March 25-29). Apparently the Sony is planning to release its console ahead of Microsoft's.
