Flavour of Life is a really good song.

Let me recommend a song I recently came in contact with, even though there ofcourse are millions of great songs out there

It's called Gin no Ryuu no Se ni Notte by Nakajima Miyuki (even some really nice electric guitar in there).
It's the ending song for the jdorama Dr. Koto season 1 and it just somehow pumps me up everytime I hear it.

I even saw the orihime "clip" being used in a swedish tv commercial for mobile phone ringtones, really crazy.
It's not like anime is mainstream television over here, first now are shows like naruto, samurai champloo and Berserk getting some air time.

arg!!! the girls who live above me are driving me crazy, speaking of insanity... I wish they wouldn't wear their loud clacky shoes in the apartment I think bare feet should be a requirement in the renters agreement even the guys who used to live there, who were total jocks, were quieter...

I know your pain PaperYomiko, I used to live in the first floor in one apartment in New York. Sometimes, I have to turn on the Tv louder to listen to listen to the "Yo Momma" jokes.

Had the same deal in my old apartment. One of my roomates used to hit the ceiling with a broom, which didn't help much (plus, dust and paint chips would come crashing down).

But, I've also been on the other end and had the cops called on me for making too much noise. The cop showed up and found a few people just sitting around watching tv. He actually said, "where's the party?"

yup, I'm on the first floor too usually it's quiet enough here, but these girls who just moved in are pretty inconsiderate. i miss the guys already, even though they were kinda idiots

and MadDog, I doubt it would do much but yeah I may break out the broom soon...finally put it to some use or maybe I'll go steal all their shoes after they've gone out to the bar...

The shoe trick might show them you mean business. Either that, or break in the circuit breaker box in the basement and shut down their power...not that I would know anything about doing that On second thought, probably safer to stick with the broom.

I sorta have the same problem with my neighbour. Around here, we usually leave our shoes outside the house so we move around barefoot. But the girls who live upstairs love to play the skipping ropes. Once it got my dad so pissed off, he made me go up and tell them to be quiet becoz if he did it himself, they probably end up crying

I wish leaving shoes at the door was more standard around here, it just makes a lot more sense and it's more fun But unfortunately not many people around here get it. Silly people...

skipping rope inside?! (here we call it jump rope, btw ) that would be really annoying. My dad is scary like that, too. When I was in junior high, my friends would always call during our dinner, and he'd answer the phone and yell at them So then they would be too scared to call me, I had to call them

we have thick walls and floors here so no matter how much jumping you do you barely hear anything.

@az, my dad's like that too. everyone's scared of him. when my cousin's want to ask permission from him to do something they always tell me to do it.
but he is really scary when he's mad. actually not even when he's mad when he raises his voice is enough...

but PY, there's also a problem when it comes to leaving shoes outside. Some people will steal them =.=" I had a few stolen before. So now, only worn-out shoes are left outside and all the expensive ones are kept inside
