thank you for enlighting everyone about Green Lantern, hellbringer.
and if you guys wanna talk about comics, we do have a comics hangout thread. everyone must go there.
Agreed =D While this thread is just a place to hang out, it's best to use other threads/areas for certain topics (ie: big discussion on movies should be in a movie thread, a big Naruto discussion should take place in the Naruto sect, etc). This thread is more a place to talk about topics that don't already have threads on the subject ^^;
I went to a BBQ today where there person had two big irish wolfhounds (as pets, not as the food For those who've never seen a wolfhound, they look like sheepdogs on steriods. Very big, slobbery and hairy, but very nice and friendly dogs. Here's a picture, to give you an idea of what they look like
Besides that, it was a very slow weekend for me. How about you?
mugen, you lost your control while chilling? how does that happen?
those are cool dogs, MadDog...it's good that they weren't for the barbeque, that would be tragic
I was at the beach today, but it was so windy I didn't stay for very long. So I spent most of the afternoon reading outside in the garden. I got so involved in my book that I got a bit sunburned, but that's ok. I've decided the best way to follow up a month-long Jane Austen marathon is to read some classic Stephen King
uum... a bottle of hypnotiq....
but i even parallel parked and remember it dropped and I threw it back in the car...but it's not there anyways drinking and driving is bad
don't do it

Also it's a good time to visit Peru... yesterdar, June 24, was the Inti Raymi, wich is the Sun's Festival, a very big ceremony in Cuzco... it takes place in the Saccsayhuaman fortres... a lot of people dressed up as Inca people.
Bill Gates and Cameron Diaz came here this year for the Inti Raymi.
*but the way... the flags with the 7 rainbow colors is the flag of the Incas... not the gay movemen flag*
And July it's a special month because July 28 it's our independence day.

In Chiclayo they can see the Señor of Sipan. He was a powerfull lord in the north of Peru, he was buried with a lot of gold and stuff.
Also... in the north e have a lot of great and delicious food.
In the south of Peru we have also Arequipa, a very nice and white city (teh old houses there are made of Sillar wich is a white volcanic rock, extracted from the Misti volcano near the city) in Arequipa we have the Cañon del Colca (Colca's Canyon) a big canyon where you can see Condors.
Also we have the Amazonan Rain forest.
Near Cuzco we have the Manú National Park. This park is a biosphere reserve whre there are a lot of animals and plants.
