tofu pad thai actually, as I was eating it, I was wondering if that's really what it's called, or if that's just the American name for it, like French toast or something. anyway, it was delicious

Good question about he name being changed, I've never thought about that. My guess is that it's probably close to the original. I'm excited about a place that just opened up in faneuil hall called wagamama. It's a ramen restaurant that has other noodle dishes and side orders. It's fantastic! One of the only places in Boston to get good ramen (that doesn't come out of a styrafoam cup). I love wagamama.

dog, next time im in mass, im gunna have to ask you where that place is. i have never had any kind of ramen but maru-chan and nissan (the instant kind that start as hard as cardboard, that costs like 6 cents each)

gah. im tired of killing ichi. someone else do it this time. im gunna go see if i can find a vampire who will bite me. speaking of which, where did az run off to?

so ya, i get done with a relatively short shift (5 hours) but the guy who said he was gunna pick me up suddenly couldnt, so i walked home. seemed like a good idea at the time.... i need to get my bike fixed x.x or at least get some new blades.

oh, and my tv broke. right after bleach. so i missed last nights blood+ T_T

yomiko, why are you visiting grad schools?

because I'll be finishing my undergraduate this spring (it's only taken me six years...) and I'm going to go straight into grad school for my MA, if anyone will have me and I'd love to be in Boston, for obvious reasons

i have two friends that are getting married... although one of them is a shotgun marriage. his bride-to-be is four months along. (the one having a kid is 21, the other one is 20) *is in the minority. nearly all people in this area have kids before 20*

strawberry and chocolate are the only two i can get out here. even when i went to nyv, the only other flavor i could find was coconut, and something called "man's pocky" i was like "wtf" but the d00d behind the counter wasnt japanese so he was like "idk, nub", then i was like "o, itz 0n, biza7ch" and we proceeded to taunt each other in 1337 for a few moments... then i had to run to catch up with my sister.

oh, you didn't go to the right place then. next time you're in the city, go to Pearl River, it's in Chinatown. They've got everything (including chocolate hazlenut pocky, my favorite favorite, and nori rice snacks)

last six years? since I was 17? nooooo....I'm not really a party girl, actually. I love a good time, but I'm pretty low-key ^^ what I'd really like to do before I have to be an adult is travel around the world, and live in a few different countries ...and go skydiving

i picked 6 randomly and i usually get little say in where we go in nyc. mostly cus i say little no matter what.

does that make me a good listener, cus i can listen and not say anything, or a bad one, cus i would never have be able to hope to know what to say?

anyways, when in the city, we usually dont go far from time's square, or the park. i've only been in Harlem and Queens once each. *sucks*

arrrgh! im moving in less than a month, and i havnt been able to talk to any of my friends! gah! *goes to sleep*

Sorry oba-chan. Real life beckoned me away for the weekend. Huzzah for seeing the Simpson's movie!! Plus I have been trying to rebuild my music collection for my new ipod.

Damn, I just realized I have three weeks until I have to go to orientation for college. >.< Where did my summer go?!

yeah the summer's going too fast. My first class is in exactly one month you're going to orientation....so, you're a freshman? you excited? My freshman year was fun, oh the memories...

I am not all that excited. I am commuting to school in order to cut the price of education in half. Thus, it won't be much different. The only real difference will be the fact that I have to actually pay attention and try, instead of sitting back and just breezing through it like I did High School.

Although, according to my parents, I am incredibly troubled because I am not excited or nervous about school. Just like any other day in my opinion.

English Lit. eh? I almost did a double major with Comp Science and English, but I changed my mind when I found out what the average amount of reading for English majors was.

Look at that. Looks like Nami is slowly turning into a zombie. Mwahahahahaha!

I spent the day at work yesterday doing nothing after lunch. I even pushed everyone to give me something to do, since i've finished all my stuff. After going back and forth the office, i finally grab my sleeping bag, find a corner and sleep.
I woke up at 7pm, took a shower and went home.

Fuji, I actually found that my college courses were a hell of a lot easier than high school. I guess maybe because I went to a really tough prep school, but I've been able to slack off quite a bit more in college than I ever dreamed was possible in high school sometimes I wonder what my professors are doing giving me good grades

gah I'm sooooo bored!!!! someone please entertain me...

Yes, there are two bathroom at my office. Sometimes, well.. lots of times, i just leave for work without showering, that way i'll get to work faster and i'm still fresh from the shower. *Note to self, bring pillow next time*
