Wowowowo!! You like FF9?? I kinda hate it!! I think that the best one is FFVII... I also loved Advent Children... Uhh and the music when Sephiroth appeared... that's what I call RPG...

no, but seriously, in real life, I get very bad stage fright. I'm just a shy person, I don't really like being the center of attention...it makes me nervous for some reason

You know, I love to sing so Karaoke is like the only way that I can get in front of people but even then I have to just focus on the words on the screen and forget where I am until I get into the song. I usually get good feedback which makes me happy and helps with confidence. Surprising, I have never sung karaoke drunk.

The Princess Diaries novels are great but at some point, I think I felt too old to identify with Mia in the books. That is why the second movie with the wedding topic was great for me. ^_^

Yay, Karaoke! What kind of music do you like to sing? For some reason, I have been really into singing ABBA lately. I need to find a good place to go here in AK though. I am not really into the whole bar scene so I have to really look to find a not scary place. LOL

The first movie is very similar to the books but the second movie takes place once Mia graduates college which is really cool. I <3 Anne Hathway in those movies. She is great. However Julie Andrews playing her grandmother is very different from the books.

I like to sing all kind of music that they have in their stock. I like to try different music. I like ABBA too! Their song is so cool!! Which song did you like genki? I don't like the scary place and the bar too.. ^^ But i've already find the place that is convenient for me. Hope you find the place too genki.

Gigi, Take A Chance by ABBA is an awesome song. But my favorite number, whenever i go to the karaoke with my friends is Stayin' Alive (Bee Gees).

Heck yeah! The Bee Gees are awesome! That is really cool. I am glad someone else knows Take A Chance On Me! I also love to sing songs from Musicals/Broadway as well. My problem with renting the rooms with friends is that once I get into the singing, I have trouble giving up the mic. Once I am comfortable I end up in concert mode. LOL I am so dorky.

@gigi: me too! that's why my friends let me sing first, then when i'm happy enough, they can take the mic without getting any complaints from me. think harry potter versus that three headed dog.
I mostly watch football (soccer), F1 racing, Moto GP, NBA (finals only), 9 ball billards championship and the volleyball league matches in my country (sometimes).

@Velvet: I nicknamed genkigemini as gigi because it's an acronym for her username. fyi, gigi, in my language, gigi means tooth.

Yeah, there is NO where in AK for that kind of Karaoke. It is really strange. I am still looking though. Alaska is the kind of place where you have to mail order everything. Although we are the biggest state in the US, we have 2 comic shops for the ENTIRE state and both happen to be in Anchorage about 1 hour from my home.

We also only have one anime convention that is one day long, once per year. It was actually last Sunday but with being out of work, I could not go. I was really sad too because I wanted to buy some doujinshi. *pout*

Ichi... I gotta say, I am loving the gigi nickname and I have no idea why! LOL (Tooth?! Awesome! *Sarah is easily amused*)

Sports? I like NASCAR, PBR, Football and martial arts. I am a 1st dan in TKD and used to compete in tournament for forms and sparring on the state and national levels when I was younger (16-18) so I get REALLY into TKD stuff.

ichi was the only guy here XD but now he isnt. so i have a few things to say. one, being awake this early should be illigal (it's 7 am now). two, i hate being in public, especailly public speaking. three, i've never seen or read the princess diaries. four i keep gettin' Fernado by abba stuck in my head. five, soccer and football are the only two sports i can watch. and six...

Sakura, let me just say your english has gotten a lot better in the last few months.

you guys should all go out and karaoke, have someone record it, put it up on youtube, then up on here.

i like singing, but im pretty much tone dead, so you wont get me up on a karaoke stage without getting drunk
