Wow im gonna be honest I hate baseball. Its way to boring for me and the games are long. It's boring to play as well. I dont know I guess i have ADD or something cause Id be bored as hell either standing around in the outfield or sitting in the dug out waiting for a chance to bat that usually only comes four times a game.
I guess thats why I play basketball.

In basketball the ball is mine and im free to orchestrate plays and run the offense. I never have to stand in one place at one time. Thats why i loved it and wish i was still allowed to play it competitively.

Welcome to the hang out thread! I dont really watch baseball and I played a long time ago so I dont think i can explain well but there are some baseball fans here who probably wouldn't mind telling you.

Its not a complex game...its quite simple to be honest. Its just blah blah blah and than you get to the last base and its a home run! (that is all i know about baseball xD)

i have a classmate who had a 99%-ile on his PSATs and his upset about it cuz it didn't change from his last year's score...

Oh i got 73% better than all the juniors. Yeah the writing part is kinda tricky. Im in DECA so im definitly gonna do something in buisness or marketing.

u got a higher score than me!!! yeah the writing part is long and tiring. i was trying to keep myself awake on that part.... i almost fell asleep. *maybe that's why i got such a low score... *
I liked the math part. it was fun to do!

FCAT hard? i took that this year. (cuz you know i was in VT and they didn't have that.) i acutally fell asleep on that one... What part did you fall asleep on?

99%-ile is the highest you can get... if you get a score like that, you qualify as a national merit semifinalist. after that, you can try to become a national merit finalist and can earn a scholarship to be considered a national merit scholar which helps in the college search. i know from experience ^^

i really don't follow baseball as well as i used to

when i was a freshman in college, i used to watch it religious but my friends at the time were not into sports like i was so i haven't been as diligent as i was in the past. however, my friends right now love sports so it is so much easier to talk about it and to watch it. they are reds fans though but they do love the sox. i usually watch baseball when it's world series time and then pick a team from there.

and yeah, i think rabb just jinxed the pats. way to go, rabb.

chinese paintings is a history course but i like it. it's nice knowing the context in which the painting was created plus we get to look at a lot of pretty pictures in class ^^

@ imperium, the PSATs, and SATs are standardized tests we use to see who much you've learned from school. the schools are used for colleges, seeing who they should accept, the government to see what schools are actually teaching the students, and by the students, to make other students feel stupid ;-;

of coarse, the american school system is horrible compared to the rest of the world, so you'd prolly get scores higher than the rest of us.

there are some good schools in america. however, it depends on which school you can attend (private prep schools are so expensive). my brothers went to a really good prep school but i didn't because it was an all-boy school.

asian schools stress education like crazy. if the teachers in asia are as harsh as my dad, then i seriously pity them.

didnt you and your sister go to a really good private prep school for girls? i almost, ALMOST! went to a private prep school in mass, that wwas one of the best in the country (the prince of ... i think it was Sudan... went there), but my ma didn't like teir attitude (stuck up, snooby) so i stayed in public school. just as well, i never did any work or studing in school. and my step-dad was the same way. at least, he tried to be. i wouldnt tell him whenever i had homework or tests, so he couldnt force me to do it. but i when the grades got there, my ass was sore for a week x.x not to mention i practiccly never saw my 64

no i went to a crappy catholic school. i loved most of the teachers and some of my classmates but i hated it most of the time. i swore after graduation that i will never go back to that school.

i think you meant the prince of saudi arabia; the royal family has a lot of members attending school here.

yeah, my parents did not like it when i did poorly though i think that i was the one who motivated myself to do well. out of my entire family, my dad said that i had the most drive and i guess it's true based off my personality.

i don't think it was Saudi Arabia... i'm fairly sure it was a one-word named country, but it was that general region. although i do know that the prince of saudi arabia once bought hundreds of toilet seats in cleavland for his palace (his father was in hospital there; spost to be the best in the world for stuff concerning the heart, or something like that...) see what you can learn with a good taxi driver/tour guide? one of the more humorous parts of a hellish trip XD
