Worm, are you more of a baseline player or a volley-er? What's your best shot? A lob? A drive? A smash? Can you do all ball effects during your shots and your serves? I know I had trouble doing topspin serves when I played

I'm more of a baseline player, but lately I've been struggling with everything. My best shot would probably be down the line backhand. I can hit topspin and flat shots, but the way I swing mostly creates a top spin effect for almost every ball, I can hit slices, but not too well. On my serves, I can hit top spin, slice, but I can't hit a kick serve. A lot of my teammates think the way I play is very unorthadox, but it's cool.

Quebec eh? What's it like in Quebec and do I need to know how to speak French?

Are you a one-handed or two-handed backhand player? Seems one-handed backhand players are becoming more rare these days(in correlation with the number of net players decreasing).

My brother and my dad are tennis players btw >.>

One-handed backhands are usually very easy to slice with since the mouvement is pretty natural. And whoever said orthodox was good? Weird and special is nice!!!

Oh that's very cool. I'm a one-hander since I can't hit a two handed backhand to save my life. My backhands use to be the best part of my game until I switched grips due to me wanting to hit more flat so I just need to get back.

It seems a bit easier to slice with two, but I could be wrong since I never really do so.

Don't worry, you don't need to be technical, just have fun whenever you play tennis and learn with trial and error. Fun is something I've felt I haven't done lately since I've been taking tennis way over the top lately.
