Jesus, between work and school.... 9-12 hours a day....

used to be about 8 hours.

but now due to school and exams it got cut down to 4-6 hours D:

Depends on what i have to do.
But it is almost 9-10 ours a day ( as the least. But i guess it is going to change, here in the summer ^^;; )

Depends. On weekends I may spend 90% of my downtime on-line. But it changes if I'm working on a comic, helping the parents, or out with friends. During the week I'll spend 2hrs in the morning, and 8p-2a online. With me playing with CSS and comics more and more that number may drop.

I feel like I have the 'Barkley Syndrome', but instead of holodecks I live in the WWW. XP~~~~~~~~o

How to stop staring at my laptop screen?

Hi, I just have one wish, to unplug from the web and come back into the real life! Where is my blue pill?
I'm a 21 years old massagist from NY, and when I come back after work, tiered from standing all day long, I just turn on my laptop, and suddenly, it's 2 am. How do you manage to keep your offline life, when you have a pc at home?
My obssesion is icq, blogs, myspace and any web place where you can meet interesting people. Forums are new to me, but I thought to give it a try.

ps: I'm a total newbee at forums, so I'm sorry if posted in the wrong place, just got here and saw this one.. Please be kind to show me the right place where you can just talk with people.

I have those phases too where I do nothing but Laptop on/off when I'm at home. But lucky, many people I socialized with online have become offline friends as well. We meet up regularly and drag us out together and funny enough, although we're mainly online friends, we do not use the PC during such meetings at all.

The internet has become a very normal and daily thing to me but I try to not loose my feet in it. Local festivals, tickets for my favorite bands concert, going out with friends once in a while, hobby and sport clubs help a lot to keep connected to reality.

And oddly, the very same internet that is so much danger for my real life is actually helping me to keep it up. Checking the forum of a music festival to find people for sharing a camping space or even in a forum like MangaHelpers I find fellow fans to meet up with for a manga con. This Saturday is a huge Japanese culture festival in my area and I'll meet up with several people I know online from the Edited Manga scene, it will be fun

So yeah. Try socializing. But not only online but also offline. Go out with friends and co-workers once in a while. Don't turn the PC on when you come home once in a while, grab a book and listen to radio instead. There's no much more one can do, I'm afraid :3

I spends more than 13 hours on the computer. At least 10 hour in office and 3 to 4 at my home....

I am on waaaay too much. A 4000 word essay due in 3 days, and I've only done 1300 words T_T

If I'm not out doing stuff with my friends, I'm on the interwebs, procrastinating...

Damn those new raw manga chapters! They keep me away from doing school work ;/

O god, I'm on all the time. Anywhere from Facebook, MH, AIM, Youtube, etc. During the school year the Internet is my ultimate tool of procrastination. Now that its summer, its the only thing to entertain me when Im home until my friends give me a call to hang out and save me from this addiction. lol.

I only go online at nights until mornings.. heheh.. so yes almost 8 hours nonstop. I think this will stop after I got a steady work.
