Hey Eagle!

Why did you choose to become a Computer Network Administrator in a Bank?

In fact... I didn't choose to become a Computer Network Administrator. As "Computers" is the best thing I can do, it's a company I've subscribed that told me about the job. I just accepted and found it interesting. I don't know if i'll do this forever

What was the first manga you read?

As far as I remember, Saint Seiya must be the first manga I hold in my hands.

What was the first anime you saw?

The first anime I saw must be... Grendizer, who was broadcasted (?) in France around 1980 ^_^ In the sime time, I was watching Captain Future, Captain Harlock, Kum Kum... very old one, ne ?

As JapFlap has only started doing english HQ´s recently... ( about 20 chapters? i must say i only have your releases from 290 and further at the moment so i don't know )

Are those latest chapters difficult to clean? With all those trees etc...

Recently, it's been difficult to clean. No only all those trees, but also 4 tails Naruto, and speed lines... Moreover, the RAW we find on the Internet are not really HQ... ¿^_^

Did you do only french scans in the beginning? or did you start with the intention to do both, and why?

Which language do you like better?

I decided to translate our releases in to English too... because Shannaro and Inane were late in their releases. I wanted to give to all fans another HQ release while they were waiting for their favorite group to catch up. I didn't expect so much success ^^
I like both French and English language. I've no preference...It's easier for me to do the french releases of course. I tried to translate in english myself, but for some reasons, people didn't like it ^^ That's why I'm using scripts from skilled translator here !

I like both French and English language. I've no preference...It's easier for me to do the french releases of course. I tried to translate in english myself, but for some reasons, people didn't like it ^^ That's why I'm using scripts from skilled translator here !

Probably because of the spelling mistakes / grammar mistakes... you should've hired me as a proof reader

I did notice that in earlier chapters and noticed Japflap's been doing better lately.

I'm not that kind of guy who says "I'm the best, I can do it myself, I do what I want, if you don't like it go to hell" ^__^
People told me that the english releases would be better if I take  Nihongaeri/Njt 's (or other cleaners) translations...and I did it, because it's for all of you that we release

And now, It takes less time too release because i'm not english translating anymore ¿^_^ (except the SFX)

That might explain why you guys are so fast though. For example from I've heard, Shannaro has a lot of beta reading sessions that tends to slow things down because of arguments that can come out of such occasions - when to be liberal, for the best fluid translations in English...

If you have a very good editor who knows how to do that with English translations you may get even more recognition. But right now we're just glad to have a fast Edited Manga group and you guys do a great job

I don't think translation slows down the release process. Cleaning does it ^^

It's true that we haven't someone to make english sentences more fluid We only have a French sentences coherence checker.

Maybe one day...

I think your releases are quite good - no urgent need to have a proofreader in my point of view.

Where did you get the chocobo in your sig and the animated letter boxes?

A good friend of mine made it for me 3 years ago. This chocobo is so かわいぃ~ that I will keep it forever ^_^

(Seriously, I fell in love with this character almost right from the start - when he walked through the door to meet Team 7 for the first time and got hit by Naruto's eraser right on the noggin. That whole chapter as he was questioning Team 7 I loved the way he was drawn, so laid back. And then the bell test he was STILL so laid back even while he was fighting, especially Naruto, it was the most hilarious thing I've seen in a while.)

What actually does your job require you to do?
If you have 100 US dollar right now, what will you do with that amount of money.
From the scale 1 to 10, how much do you love your country? Why?

My job is to program VBA applications for excel, and to make support to the guys who repair the computers everywhere in the country. Most support is for the machine that gives you money in the street.
If I have 100 US$ right now, I will put them on my account ^^ It would be really useful !
I give my country a 7/10, because it's a country where I love to live. Even if there is lots of thing i'm not agree with, I'm happy in France, because with the money I earn, I'll be able to buy and live in a big house, I can eat very good things... life is quite "easy" ! I'm not sure living in Japan will give me the same feelings That's also why I prefer to go there for the Holidays !
