More like the Wall of China. I had the flu last year for the first time.... Never again.

You don't usually, but I just imagined it must be an extra strength version that can't be sold OTC.

Yeah. My mom isn't as bad as my sister though. They took a chest x-ray because her breathing sounded so bad. I was like Jesus, is this necessary? But I'm not going to sit there and argue. Let the doctors do their thang. I don't know the first thing about medical care. All I do there is sit and nod and hope that insurance covers everything. XD;

I haven't had the flu in forever, but I don't remember taking that much shit. Definitely never took an antiviral.

I took my sister to eat something between arriving at the clinic and being informed it was a two hour wait and she literally fell asleep sitting up and woke up when she nearly coughed out a lung. :cookiearf

There are different strains of the flu and degrees of severity. You can also have combined illnesses with it. She just got over a recent sinus infection and then had a cold from being outside in the rain/cold too long at a football game. If it's not one thing, it's another with this one.

You must have had a mild strain. I couldn't even drive myself to the doctor when I had it. The headache was unbelievable. @_@

I haven't had the flu since I've been an adult, so...

The worst I'll get is a bad headcold in the Winter, but I've been the lucky the past year or two and didn't get it.
