I had the same opinion as you. I read the Hobbit over 7 years ago, and i didn't think it would have enough "juice" for 3 movies. But maybe based with the fact that i don't really remember much of details from the books, i was actually surprised when i found the two movies really enjoyable to watch. I didn't feel like they seemed dragged or even that the story was uninteresting enough for the pace of the movie. It kinda worked of me.

Despite having read the book, i actually only watched both movies this summer ... so you have the confirmation that i didn't have much faith on the project. But well for me it worked

And on a sidenote, MH was not loading properly for some long minutes for me. Anyone had that problem?

Those people are probably way more fanatic about it than i am. It's been so long since i read the book, that i don't really had any much expectations and maybe that's why i enjoyed it.

Well gawd, some people actually enjoyed watching Eragon's film and that was probably one of the worst adaptations that i have ever seen, so ...
