If i am not wrong, i got the impression a lot of people didn't enjoy some parts of season 4. No idea about season 5 though.
And regarding your concern, that happens because my favorite genres are comedy and criminal series.
But Person of Interest is not an inferior show to The Walking Dead imo

Um, don't really know. The viewership keeps increasing and it's the most watched show still.

Nothing on CBS is better than TWD. People watch shows on that channel just because it's the most popular network. All of the shows are the same, lol. Everything after the original CSI is terrible. They have to have 3 different versions of every show...

Yeah I did. And I like JJ Abrams' stuff, and I like Michael Emmerson as well. I wasn't really referring only to POI mind you, but every drama CBS airs has the same "flavor" to it, and I think it's pretty bland/boring/repetitive. Especially since it's all crime dramas, just with slightly different spins on it.

Everything on CBS gets ratings for some reason, even if it doesn't deserve it. Just look at 2 Broke Girls for example. Absolutely terrible show, I've never laughed once watching it. Yet people just eat that shit up blindly. I mean, Kat Dennings has nice boobs...but really?

Yeah, that's true, but that's what popular. CBS is known for that type of shows. I caught a glimpse of Two Broke Girls, but I felt dumb watching it. Out of all the CBS shows, I only watch POI and The Amazing Race.
