Well it's better then nothing, Walt still needs to be explained. And this finale was just superb, my favourite episode throughout the whole show. Can't believe everyone technically died, and Jack was the first one to die. :(

Matthew Fox will win an award for his performance.
No. There was no sense of time in the sideways world. Boone, Shannon, Michael, Juliette, Sayid, Sun and Jin all died before Jack. They were all dead in the sideways world, because EVERYONE dies at some point. Read HERE for an explanation. It's supposedly from one of the writers. Long, but definitely worth the read.

I think Matthew Fox, Terry O'Quinn, and Michael Emmerson will probably all be nominated for Emmy's, as well as the series for best Drama. The series already won in 2005 as well as Directing for JJ Abrams in the same year, and Terry won in 2007 for Best Supporting Actor. Michael won in 2008 for the same award as well.

Naveen Andrews was also nominated once, but I don't know if he'll make the cut due to his character not being super involved much in the final season.

The only problem i have with this show is that i was unconvinced that the MiB is as evil as Jacob says he is. To me MiB is like some guy who just wanna leave the island.

He was less evil before Jacob turned him into the Smoke Monster. After that, it didn't matter whether he was innocent or not. Jacob had to right his mistake.

What I don't get is Christian. How does he know all of this? The flash sideways, all the characters etc and he seems to know everything which has happened on the Island, that's just confusing. What is he?

For some reason Christian was enlightened to all this, as all characters who had there realizations became. He just seemed to be the first among the group...a guide of some sorts. And I think it's great symbolism, given what he meant to Jack, and given the fact that Jack after all was ultimately the main focus of the show.

As far as what he was?...and I don't know if there's an answer for that really. The Sideways was a means for the connected souls to come together after they were dead and move on as a group. All of the characters in that group were connected, and all of them were redeemed (some more than others). That's the main reason characters like Ben weren't a part of that group. He hadn't quite redeemed himself. Meaning that maybe he would serve as the next groups "Christian". The group consisting of Richard, Frank, Miles, Pierre, Ana Lucia, Walt, Charlotte, Daniel, Illana, and etc. That's the way I look at it anyways.

The thing is he wasn't evil at all before he was killed by Jacob and sent down into the light. In my opinion it was wrong of Jacob to keep him on the island purely so that he could right his mistake.

There was this one scene where he was talking with Jacob and in the most sincere tone of voice he said "Just let me leave the island Jacob" as if that's all he wanted. And there's nothing at all wrong with that. Especially considering that we do not know exactly what Jacob was protecting from the outside world and nor did he.

The reason MIB seemed evil to us is because he was stuck on that island for centuries when he'd much rather have been anywhere else. It obviously got to the point where enough was enough and he would get of the island by any means necessary. If Jacob wasn't being reasonable then why should he have to be?

That's all fine and good, but you're operating under the assumption that Mother was wrong, and that everything Jacob did wasn't necessary. It seems to me, that the destruction of the Island was obviously a possibility (it nearly happened), and that was reason enough for Jacob to keep his brother on the Island until he found a way to kill him and let his soul rest.

No. Everything that happened on the Island was real. That reality was what happened when they were alive. The Flash-Sideways was revealed to be something like purgatory. When Jack asked his Father about everyone else being dead and Christian said, "Everybody dies son". Meaning some died before Jack, some long after (probably referring to Hurley since he became the new protector). The numbers, the group in the church, they were all connected. Christian said that the time he spent with those people were the most important in his life. Thus, they were all connected and needed to find one another in this Flash-Sideways/Purgatory, to "move on" together.
