Millly, we are still seeing eachother, it's not like I'm not talking to him. It's just that... we're more like friends right now, because physical contact is hard for me.

I feel like all of this is just stupid and there's nothing left in the whole relationship for me.

Yep. I think the same way. There's no way it's getting better, so... I decided I will be friends with him (poor guy, gonna be friendzoned ._.), but I'm not sure if that's gonna work out. We'll probably see eachother once in a while.

I thought like that before, but I still care for the guy. He'd be devastated if we aren't friends and I think he's gonna be alright if we still see eachother from time to time.

Btw, I forgot to mention something. He also told my friend that if we break up, he'd like to try going out with that girl. No idea if he's serious about it.

wtf ? Just by writing that, seeing your avatar/sig, the kind of posts, the place where I currently am, I have a feeling of deja vu or rather some kind of "premonition" from a dream. Weird.

If he still has strong feelings for you, then it might be really hard for him to be friends, and might feel better off not seeing you at all.

However, since you said he may want to get with that other girl, then I'm guessing that's not the case.

He's kinda... weird. I'm not sure what his feelings really are, he tells me he loves me, but I feel like he only likes the idea of me (I feel that way about him at least). From what I've seen, it won't be much of a problem for him if we continue seeing eachother, even if it's just friendship.

That with the girl came out of insecurity, I think. But I'll see. I wonder if he'll ever tell me if that happens.

Anyway, thanks, everyone! It's so nice to speak about this with so many people. I feel like you are all beside me in some way. ^^ I feel better after talking about it.

No use in holding you or him back. If he's giving other girls the type of attention he's supposed to be paying you, and it's because you don't want to give him the kind of attention you should be paying him, then it's probably over whether you still see each other or not.

It'll save you time and heartache.

If I were you, I would end things in person, since it's more respectful and things tend to resolve better that way. Just my experience with it.

You're not supposed to feel so much pity for him that you still expect to see him weekly. That makes no sense, he's already moving onto other people in his head at least. It sort of sounds like you would still like to see him for your own reason even though you no longer want to be his. If it ends well, don't avoid him, but also don't be so regimented about seeing him, it could only fuck things up for the both of you.

I suggest hanging out with him in groups of people. When I was still friends with my ex, we usually would hang out with a group of his friends, never alone. We both knew that we didn't want to date each other anymore, but at the same time understood there a little bit of tension between us. I definitely still found him very attractive, but having his friends around made him more relaxed, and it also helped me too.

And that way, if he does start things with other girls, or you start things with other guys, it doesn't look weird. Hanging out alone with your ex will be a turn off for almost anyone you're trying to become an item with.You probably already know all of this though. XD

Yeah, she brought up a good point. If you must insist on seeing each other (who knows) doing it in a group and not alone has to be better.

It will still be awkward regardless of how you go about it though...if I had to bet.
