most of your beef with mgs4 could easily be said towards any mgs...especially 2...it seems to me that you went into MGS4 wanting to hate it for some and any reason...

Actually, I was really fucking excited. The game just let me down. It regressed in quality, which shocked me and makes me feel like Kojima may have just put his name on it and approved some ideas but left it mostly to the other Konami ppl and his co-directors/writers. The only reason Kojima is involved is because he has a family and he received death threats.

MGS3 had some okay moments which is why it lost out to MGS2, Ill admit that. But MGS1 is obviously the worst because now its kinda dated and the dialogue scenes are somewhat atrocious with regards to its repetitiveness. EX: "I did this, sNake!" "What?!" "Thats right!" "What?! I cant believe this!" "Thats right I decieved you!" "Damnit! Liquiiidd!!" Just that kind of back and forth killed the pace and flow of it but I wont knock it because its from 1998 and its quality was according to the times and surpassed its fellow video games. However MGS has come a long way since then but MGS4 seemed to regress back to that kind of level of lower quality when compared to MGS2 and 3.

1) What's your favourite Metal Gear game?
It's a tie between 1,3 and 4...one started it all, and it caused me to fall in love with the series, 3...despite it's rough start (I played a few hours into it and wasn't too happy with it...put it down FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR and then picked it up again to find out I was 5 minutes away from when it started to really pick up...it was one of the greatest games I ever played) it really gave me a new love for the series that MGS2 kinda took away. And 4...beautiful MGS4...to me, there was absolutely nothing wrong with that game...where with MGS3 I had to put it down in the beginning becuase it was so boring, MGS4 suffered none of that...I played it pretty much straight through and was pissed I had to do things like eat sleep and piss. Everything about that game is epic...it has set the standards pretty high for all future games...and action movies too...holy shit hideo, good job.
2) Who's your favourite character?
Obviously snake...but I kinda like naked snake...I know it's pretty much the same character, but naked snake had a look to him. Old snake was awesome too...
3) What's your favourite Boss battle?
this is the most unfair question of all time...I like almost all the boss battles for different reasons...almost any sniper battle is great, whether it's wolf or that old geezer who was pretty much dead. but I think it's a given that psycho mantis is the most memorable...broke the 4th wall and did it right.
4) Story of which game did you like the most?
I think MGS1 takes it because it wasn't as complex as the rest. 4 might be better just because it wraps the whole series up and does it beautifully. 2 was meh...too complicated and kinda dumb and 3 was more of a set up for the rest.
5) Which part of the game was the hardest to get through?
I can't even remember, that's how hard it was...I tend to put those memories in the dark place in my brain...honestly, I can't remember a hard part...I just remember the game as a whole...I'm numb to the virtual violence...in MGS4, without giving any spoilers out, after you get catapulted...breaking in was kinda hard depending on how you did it...GUN AND RUN DOES NOT WORK...I don't care who you are and what weapons you have, it's impossible.
6) What do you think about Metal Gear Solid 4 game?
If it's the first and only MGS you've played, it's a confusing but extremely entertaining game...if played with the series...HOLY SHIT, it's the best game I have ever played, EVER...my god, the scale of this game...so epic...It's set the standard high for konami...so they either have to bow out, or raise up to the standard it has set...hopefulyl they go for the latter, but I'd perfer the former...I would hate for MGS to suck after what MGS4 accomplished.
7) Which characters design did you liked the most?
The BB girls, in both their forms. Raiden as the cyborg ninja, and of course, cyborg ninja himself (grey fox, was it?). Naked snake when he first turns into big boss, when he has his eye patch, has the beret and is saluting...awesome.
8) How many Metal Gear games have you played?
all the solids...I didn't know about the series until the first solid came out, and by then the 8bit version hurt my eyes and I couldn't take it. I stated the portable ops, but haven't gone far...

Actually just wanted to say it worked for me. All you have to do is kill the enemy at first without getting noticed. 1 shot kill etc. Then run to the end, doing your best to dodge the bullets. Then shoot down the Gekkos and then every other thing trying to shoot you, then somehow when no enemies are around you, open the door. Obviously you can do it the proper way but that takes longer to do of course.

Of course solid snake, duh! The coolest gramps I've ever met. Then Raiden come in second. Haha~

Hmm, i dunno. I like 'em all, anyway. Some of it was veeeeeery frustating but I forget which one

Hmm, the third one, i guess
5) Which part of the game was the hardest to get through?
Whenever I died each time i fought a boss even after the 2 or 3 time i tried it again. It's a total pain in my bottom. .or when I have to sneak out but the enemy founds me everytime
6) What do you think about Metal Gear Solid 4 game?
It's a pure awesomeness and coolness. The story is awesome, more action and stealth, everything is beautifully arranged. .eew, am i being too overreacting?
7) Which characters design did you liked the most?
Raideeeeeeen!!!! He is SO COOL and his armor is absolutely amazing. I wonder when I can make sumthin like that

Hmm, only three. The first, second, and third

1) What's your favourite Metal Gear game?
MGS1, due to nostalgia.

2) Who's your favourite character?
Used to be Paramedic, until I found out she was the same Dr. Clark that robotized Gray Fox. Now it's a tie between Mei Ling and Akiba.

3) What's your favourite Boss battle?
MGS4's Laughing Octopus battle. Funniest battle ever.

4) Story of which game did you like the most?
MGS4's. It tied up all the loose ends pretty nicely.

5) Which part of the game was the hardest to get through?
MGS1: Vulcan Raven (I always got my butt kicked for some reason on my first playthrough)
MGS2: Vamp (Annoying bisexual guy)
MGS3: The End (How does it feel getting held up, Snake?)
MGS4: Liquid Ocelot (CQC fight was horrible)

6) What do you think about Metal Gear Solid 4 game?
Made me feel like a senior citizen.

7) Which characters design did you liked the most?
Null/Gray Fox/Frank Yeager's young design. He looked cooler and less homosexual than Raiden.

8) How many Metal Gear games have you played?
6. The other two being the original MG, then Portable Ops + on the PSP.
