Anyone has watched McGruber. Its super funny movie. Some scenes made me literally LMAO. Do watch it, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Yesterday I watched Ong Bak 3. I would rate it not more than 2 on a scale of 1-20. Nothing brilliant about the movie at all. It went from martial art to dance, everything is different compared to the previous release (OB2)(first of all is the lot of fiction (imaginary stuff) and then Love, sentiments and a lot of s**t that weren´t in the previous movie ... ) .

I finally saw Expendables a few days ago, and Oh My God was it a manly movie or was it a manly movie? Simple, it was the manliest movie ever.

Weak plot aside, no one should have come to watch a deep and meaningful movie in terms of plot anyway so I could care less. The plot was actually better than I thought, because it made sense for Stallone to want to save an innocent after such a long time of mindless slaughter. But screw the plot, what we all came for was the...

ACTION! And boy was there a lot of action! I loved every minute of it, Dolph was awesome although I didn't want him turning to the other side. The scene with Arnold and Bruce was awesome to the bone, "What's his problem?" "He wants to be President." Simply priceless. Jet Li was hilarious in the movie too with all his short jokes. And was he right or what? He unleashed a set of incredible moves on Dolph, and Dolph turned the fight in seconds and was about to finish him off. Size matters it seems. But when it all came down to it, "I would have won."

Amazing humour and action in this movie to be honest, but most of all it was great seeing all the big shots in ONE movie and in scenes together. Expendables 2 anyone? Let's hope Stallone can take the beating again, because boy did he get fucked in this movie and he's friggin' 64 years old!

re:THE EXPENDABLES- I once read a person call The Expendables "Sex in the City for men"... Chicks don't get why we like it, our "open minded" hipster-ish friends don't get why we like it, but we love it anyway.

I just saw Despicable Me with a couple of my friends and I've got to say that It's a really fun movie to see. It's great for both kids and kids at heart.

That big pile of crap, i swear that twenty years from now i'll still be complaining about that movie. It was shit in every way.... add the crappy 3D (when will Hollywood learn that adding 3d post production will not make the damn movie look even close to Avatar?) and you have yourself a crappy movie.

That movie sucked so much it was hilarious; to see all these big name stars being ruined by a terribly dull script and story is beyond me...

The only thing that kept me awake were my hopes of a movie saving scene somewhere in the movie...But to my dismay, one such scene was never shown.

I've seen The expendables some weeks ago. I have to say first that Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger appear less than a minute in the movie. From the movie poster, they were supposed to be part of the expendables team. A well done trick, Stalone...
Now about the movie, it is just some incredible bull*hit, like I have not often seen in my life. What a trash ! It just symbolises the worst of the american cinema. You know that part of the american culture which can make people abroad do not really like american people and also think that they're completely stupid... That's such a shameful movie for United States. I'd hate Stalone if I was american.

I've seen Le Bruit des Glaçons which is truly a pure poetry. That's truly a master piece, and not a movie of entertainment like current movies almost always are. That's such a beautiful movie that it makes me understand why cinema is called the seventh art.

And I've just come back from Inception which is really great and reminds me so much of some P. K. Dick's novels, like The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch. The suspense at the end of the movie is a good attempt but it seems they forgot that Cobb had already made spin his top in this level of reality at the beginning of the movie to be sure it was the good one. Still I don't understand why in the ultimate level of dream, the people can't kill themselves simply instead of getting older and beginning to think the dream is the reality. They just have to die while they're still aware that it's a dream to not lose their mind. After all, the japonese guy - which has become old - kills himself after Cobb came to remind him the truth and it works.

That's the stuff I can laugh about. It's totally pointless and absurd but way more funny than flat humor such as Hangover

Last good film I watched in cinema was Inception, I kinda hate many of those hypes around movies but this one deserved it. It's cool to have actually someone trying to show something crazy with weird rules rather than starting the next run-of-the-mill spy thriller which is totally boring.

I just got back after watching Resident Evil: Afterlife Gotta love an Zombie Apocalypse movie!

If you've seen any of the Resident Evil movies, you know what it's about, and it's more of the same. Definitely worth a watch if you like that sort of genre.

Spoiler: minor spoilers since it didn't really make much difference in the plot

Alice gets turned back into a human early in the show... but then the story doesn't really make much of it since even without her powers she kicks more ass than any 10 people. I'm pretty sure she gets her powers back at the end though as she is stabbed with the same knife she used on.... (leaving minor suspense)

I'd have to disagree with Wowzers on this one...

RE: Afterlife left me feeling annoyed and ripped off. I felt like I was watching a really long TV show rather than actually watching a movie. Paul W.S. Anderson's use of (sub par)CGI and "fade to black" sequences has gone over to the level of "gratuitously-excessive". I'd only recommend it to people who are huge fans of the movie franchise... This is what you get when you strive to get so many things into one movie, that you start making compromises for them to fit. I honestly feel like he could have done a better job, had he split the movie into two parts to be able to properly tell the story.

Is it just me, or did Stallone start a brand a new fad of all the badass old farts making new movies?? You know, it'd be awesome if they had Matt Damon, Leo DiCaprio, Shia Laboeuf, Christian Bale etc... in this movie as well. It'd be like a young vs oldies movie

RE: after life...i wasted my life with that film...im sure 40mins of that film was slow motion..i mean if you not a fan of game it might be a average film but i like the games n know main characters but what they did to Wesker was worse then when they ruined Nemesis in 2nd film..

3/10 - just for the part of wesker pwning chris n claire :P

Compared to what I expected. RE Afterlife was a great movie. They killed Wesker wasn't portrayed perfectly although one of his fight scenes was pretty much straight from RE5 and that was amazing. I loved the Executioner. Most of the creatures were on board with the game and that was pretty cool. The 3D was the best I've seen since Avatar, none of that 2D upgrade to 3D crap that never works so I actually liked it. I personally give it more, 7/10 because I guess my standards were low to begin with and I was basically going not expecting it to be good and was surprised. You can't go to these movies expecting them to be JUST like the game cause then you will really be dissappointed.

I recently watched, The Expendables; I'm extremely disappointed. I don't know which Stallone movie I hate the most in recent years, Rocky 6 or The Expendables???

The action scenes were ok. Jason Statham was definitely the best actor/entertainer in this movie imo (not his best performance though, more like one of the worst). The intro was very odd. I don't know who put the film together but it was done very poorly. The scenes weren't flowing, the script was just and the acting was very, very bad. Well...in the end...I did't lose anything so I guess that's a positive.

Sheesh, the one thing I need to add to why I loved Resident Evil Afterlife was that the soundtrack for the film is just ridiculous. Like from the first scene on I was ready to start headbanging/ raving throughout the movie. So much bass, so much epicness. Some really good industrial stuff. I actually got myself the soundtrack for the film and have it on my ipod, I can't stop listening to it .

Did more people honestly go to see Resident Evil: Afterlife than Scott Pilgrim Vs The World? With the amount of gamers and anime/manga fans on here I'd have expected otherwise.

I honestly think Scott Pilgrim looks stupid. I'm looking at the trailer for it and I'm just like "wut? ". At least for Resident Evil I already have an interest in the games so I'm way more compelled to spend my money on that compared to something I find stupid. Thats obviously just my opinion but the concept behind Scott Pilgrim is not appealing to me.
