Just saw Gravity on IMAX. I think it was good. I really liked the visuals and the writing itself (though not that exceptional). It really got me engaged and made me gasp a couple of times. IMO it lived up to its hype.

Expecting a couple of Oscar nominations for this.

P.S. space is freaking scary.

Arne Elsholtz (the german dub-voice of Tom Hanks, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum and Kevin Kline) got ill in 2008 and it affected his voice for a pretty long time.
But it's all back to normal by now.

So you dislike Tom Hanks due to whoever dubbed his voice. That's kind of irrational, but I guess it can't be avoided unless you stop watching dubs.

when I watched Millennium Actress I kind of got bored along the way. It was the same way with Paprika, and even with Paranoia Agent. haha..

I did love Tokyo Godfathers though.

Satoshi Kon's works are serious and doesn't have enough comedy so yeah they're kinda boring, but still they are very nice movies. The animation's very nice.

You didn't watch Perfect Blue?

Anchorman wasn't that funny. One or two good humor here or there but that's about it.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters was an interesting experience. According to Wiki, it has bad reviews, but I'm not shocked. I still liked hte movie and the blood.

Though, I will say most reviewers are idiots.

The premise of the movie is based off a manuscript of the Yorknew City arc written by Togashi Yoshihiro that he eventually ended up scrapping.

Watched Captain Phillips, its was good. Disappointed it was a 12a though, there is more potential there than that rating could allow.
