But all in seriousness, I watched Chaplin and holy shit, was it good. Robert Downey Jr. was brilliant as Charlie!

I don't know if you remember, but in the late 90's they re-released the original Star Wars trilogy. I actually got to see "Empire Strikes Back" and despite the new revisions, it was still fairly enjoyable and was worth the ticket price.

The films I listed are some of my all time favorites, If i put "all" the movies I'd like to see again in theatres, the list be over a 100, lol.


p.s., I got to see "Wolf of Wall Street" this week and once again, Leo and Marty have made another great film together and Jonah Hill was amazing in this. I still think, "Gangs of New York" is their best work, but this was also good. 3 hours and didn't feel long at all, because the story keeps going and going. Glad I got to see one last good picture before 2014 comes in.

Saw enders game the other game. I liked it but it was by no means as cool as it could or should have been. Somehow the most unrealistic aspect of the movie was that at no points those gamer kids implied they had r where going to have intercourse with their colleagues mothers....

The picture looks so horrible, I wouldn't even waste my time watching the trailer, to be honest.

The poster isn't great, but considering it's a movie about anti-heroes; I can see what they are going for, with that Usual Suspects-like poster. The teaser we got for the movie at last year's comic-con was very promising; so I for one am looking forward to it.

Also, Christian Bale as Moses everybody:

The movie Exodus is directed by Ridley Scott and is due out next December. This following Russell Crowe's role as Noah, we have ourselves a Biblical resurgence.

Things like that are beyond me honestly. I don't really give a crap about 95% of these types of controversies, especially religious ones. I'm not ignorant of people's beliefs, but if one person's artistic vision can ruin someone's day, then I don't have much use for their opinion or them in general.

And I'm not in the Bible belt either, so I don't feel like your characterization is especially accurate either , but thanks for explaining

And to be honest, focus-group feedback is so flawed as it is. Such reports or a "controversy" can only help with more people wanting to see what the entire mess is about.

It was a mistake to put an egocentric guy like Aronofsky in charge of a 200 million studio picture in the first place. If you wanna make the movie successful, you can´t piss of religious people.

Yeah, I knew about his problems with the studio at least. I mean, I guess one could expect these kind of reports with the religious thing, but who cares? I don't really think whether religious people are for or against a movie has anything to do with it's success. The Passion of the Christ had equal parts from that crowd and it was a success. I think it's the same with everything else. It's a lot of hype, and the movie will stand on it's own merits or not. Movies are for entertainment, not religious enlightenment.

The guy behind "requiem for a dream" doing a "religious" movie. Someone at Paramount had balls to decide that.
I could maybe enjoy it. My general opionion towards religion is poor to say the least & I usually never watch religious movies. But here, it might be fun.

I dunno, Indians are generally religious douches, but I think Ram-Leela and OMG - Oh My God! did well. I'm not entirely sure about the latter though, but a lot of religious people demanded the name of Ram-Leela be changed to something else, which is now known as Goliyon Ki Raasleela or something. Simply because it was misleading due to Ram being god or an important figure. But it was a pretty stupid move, and it just made me hate Indians more. OMG also got trouble because religious people, especially authority figures, hated how the movie pointed out the truth about Indian religions and all.

As long as it's not offending that makes certain region or group ban it from playing or ban people from seeing it, as long as it's done well the controversies would just help the movie.

I wanna watch the movie for Bale, but I also don't wanna watch the movie because of Crowe.
