I don't get that scene either, Boff. Antonio Banderas might be a language genius, but i'm still not sure how he managed to learn Swedish by listening drunken Vikings talks. Maybe he start from the simple "Yes" and "No" and worked his way up.

well, it is possible. thats how i learnt english. i couldnt read subtitles as a kid so i had to figure out what they were talking about in movies. so it is possible.

I'm not queite sure what do you mean ;p Is is about that he learnet it fast? Or that for some people it is not understandable?

well, ill give you an example: jag och johan stal the horses. thats kinda like a scentence from the movie. and i think its safe to assume that you do not understand the first part in that sentence.
jag och johan stal translates to: me and johan stole, so the sentence would be: me and johan stole the horses.
and the mixed up languages thing is just funny.
imagine that they would have said me and johan stole in your language and then the horses in english. it becomes silly.

For me it was rather fantastic thing if it means for all that scene, because it queite fit the thing, that he was supposed to be that 13th warrior, from another country. So he was special

i would have preferred that they talked nordic language instead of english actually, but thats just my preference. if the movie is set in japan, speak japanese. if its set in russia, speak russian. if its set in vikingtime sweden, speak nordic

Well, yesterday I watched EPIC MOVIE...
Is not as funny as Scary Movie, but it's pretty funny. The good thing is that it parodies blockbuster movies, not just horror movies, so the things get wider for jokes...
Anyway, if you want to laugh for an hour, I recommend this movie XD

I mean, he's older than the guy wh plays Peter! And Peter is supposed to be about five years older than him.

The notion of a 25+ year old playing a 15 year od in the next movie (Voyage of the Dawn Treader) and playing opposite children...is just a bit too much of an iik factor for me. XD Especially since the interactions between Caspain and Lucy (the youngest Pevensie) had slight implications. :P

And the girl's going to be about...what? 10-12 years old then? XD

IMO, he would've been good as Caspian if they were casting for the 'Voyager' book. But...oh, I don't know. XD I don't know how they'll make him look younger than Peter. But I'll wait for the trailers/movie then ,I guess. ><

On a sidenote, I think Nicole Kidman will own as Mrs. Coulter in the upcoming movie based on His Dark Materials. ZOMG. I CANT WAIT

I went to see Flags of Our Fathers today. It was awesome and just my kind of movie, action/drama war movies . I dont know when they'll release letters from iwo jima here, but i'd love to see that one too.

everything in the world is connected to the number 23 somehow, so theres a lot of conspiracy stuff in there. illuminati could be involved, im not sure.

i saw children of men and tenacious d yesterday, COM was really cool and the camerawork was friggin awesome! and the way the scenes were made really rocked.
and i like movies that never cuts back from the main character, that means what he sees we see.

TD was ok, not gloriously funny but ut had its moments. and a few good songs
