did you watch to the end? i watch it 5 years ago with my friends and first we laughed then got bored. I try to watch it again; take 10 seconds to shut it down..never watch it alone..

Just saw "Curious Case of Benjamin Button". I should say it's the most overrated film ever. It had no climax, took too long to finally end, the acting wasn't even that fantastic (or probably because the movie was so boring the good actors really couldn't do anything).

Not sure if I agree with you there. Saw it yesterday on the swedish premiere and I wouldn't say it's overrated. It wasn't quite as magnificent as I thought it would but the cinematography was absolutely top notch (should be, with the budget Fincher had handed to him). I agree the acting was a bit below expected and it didn't quite make the script justice, but my expectations were in the roof and to me it was still a beautiful and great film. 4/5

Everyone I know who have seen The Spirit say it's pure shit. Frank Miller does great, and I mean great graphic novels.. But directing movies just isn't his thing. Sin City is great but it would most likely have been mediocre if Robert Rodriguez hadn't been there to do most of the work. And then that scenario happened, and The Spirit was the result of that. While I don't decourage anyone (except fans of the graphic novel) from watching it, I don't recommend it.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button: A great movie featuring a fantastic screenplay, great direction and cinematography, and top notch acting. Definately a must see movie for everyone that can stand three hour movies that don't have a bold conflict.

Reviewers Bias: 5/10 (Unbiased)

Overall: 8.67
Personal note: Some say that this movie is a real tear-jerker, but I honestly didn't find it that sad or moving.

Not for: People who arn't in to slow paced movies that involve a lot of listening.

I just saw Pretty Woman again, this time as a self-proclaimed grown-up compared to before when I was like, grade school or something. It was only now that I appreciated this film as it should have been. I really thought it was a good film, with just the right amounts of sex scenes, daring roles, humor and fluff.

Slumdog Millionaire was a good movie actually, even though it had crappy advertising..I found about it from a friend....

It is a good movie for those who like a good plot(good guy has bad life, loves a girl..bla bla bla)

I watched a movie or two in the last couple of weeks, but can't remember them ......

I also rank RockNRolla highly. It's not as good as Lock Stock or Snatch, but it's the best thing Ritchie's made in a long while. It's refreshing to see him getting back to his roots.

I also enjoyed Slumdog Millionaire. Just about all of Boyle's film have been of a high caliber (not The Beach, which he can't really be blamed for given how much the studio fucked him over). However, while Slumdog was excellent, I don't think it was his best work. Because of this, I'm a little disappointed that he's just now getting the recognition, meaning golden globe/oscar/Palme d'Or, he deserves (at least among those who aren't die hard fans of his). I rank Sunshine, 28 Days, and Trainspotting above Slumdog. Though, Slumdog was certainly more uplifting and mature than Millions and Boyle was able to perfectly capture one of the most attractive aspects of Hindu/Indian philosophy.
