Oh, and speaking of shitty sequels: S. Darko deserves to be in this thread. If you have seen Donnie Darko, don't see this one. It's like an insult to anyone who saw the first movie. And even if you haven't seen the first one, it'll still be an insult, because it sucks. Donnie asked in the first movie how to suck a f**k? Well, this movie does.

Oh no don't say that. D. Darko is one of the most brilliantly made movies of all time...
I feel like I HAVE to watch this movie now but another part of me is screaming "don't do it - you'll be scarred for life"

Omg I just sat through two hours of watching "the happening"
wtf is "HAPPENING" with movies these days.

At the end I learnt nothing, and I am sure this movie was directed by a someone who likes being green

The idea was original but they could no pull it off good enough making it one of the worst films I have ever watched

Trust the other part. I had promised myself not to see it but since some of my friends have idiot friends with really bad movie taste and I happened to join them for a "movie night" just when they had gotten hold of this movie, I thought "Well, it can't be as bad a sequel as, say, Butterfly Effect 2.." (which, by the way, is another really bad movie; stay away) but maaaaan was I wrong. I'm not calling S. Darko a sequel.

Wow, coincidence. I was asked by friends' friends mentioned above to see this movie with them since I adore Zooey Deschanel (yes, she is a terrible actress but I still adore her) and have some respect for Shyamalan because of The Sixth Sense. I said no because of the incident mentioned above. I did the right thing, it seems.

Well I laughed more than I did with Borat, but then again I also looked away (on instinct) so many times because it was too disgusting for my tastes. Basically you'll get to see a lot of nude males making out and more, if you catch my drift. But like I said there are some funny moments in it.

So was it GROSS guys making out? Because my boyfriend really wants to see the movie and that will totally gross him out which I will think is hilarious, and if they are hot then I will like it and he will be grossed out and that will also be hilarious.

It will gross him out, unless he likes to see men's junk spinning around. And yes, it's all gross and the men are not good looking, one of them is Bruno himself. At one point Bruno goes to a straight swinger club to become straight and people are still gross as hell xD

So, I just saw Bruno tonight. It was funny, but oh my.... O_O

I laughed out loud quite a bit (probably more than Borat), but as expected, the movie was all about shock value. ibra is not lying when he says "men's junk spinning around." Be prepared to see some male genitalia, that's all I'm sayin'.

And unfortunately, the guys are not hot.

gotta say that the 5-6 hour wait to see the movie (in good seats) was well worth it. Movie was awesome. Exceeded expectations.

I pre-booked my tickets online a week prior to the movie's release so I didn't have to wait around at all. IMO it wasn't as good as I expected it to be, maybe I expect too much as I found the book to be very good. There weren't really any decent bits of action and even Dumbledore's death didn't make it more epic. The best part was probably in the cave, but still, that scene was too short as well. I would still recommend seeing it though as other people still consider it to be quite an outstanding movie.

I saw a last week, and I have got to say, that it was the funniest movie I have ever seen!
I laughed harder than I did in Knocked Up and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
I loved this movie, it has been years since I've laughed so hard at a movie.

I ended up asking him if he still wanted to go and see it and he was like, "Nah, I heard there was a bunch of dicks in it." and I was like, WTF!!! He wanted to see that rather than Harry Potter and I was all, um, no, and now he's reneging on it because of some dicks? PSHT! The problem with movies in general is that they have way too much female T&A and not NEARLY enough dicks. Sure, women aren't as goofy looking as men are naked, but the whole of society might feel differently if we had been raised with a healthy appreciation for dicks as we have been with tits and vag.

Dan Brown's Angels and Demons was quite exciting. IMO it was better than its predecessor, The Da Vinci Code.

Watered your eyes? As in cried or had to because you kept your eyes open and fixed on Johnny for two and a half hours straight? Oh well, I'm going to see it tomorrow, so I guess I'll see for myself. Feels like it's got a good chance to end up in the top five of the year.

Can't remember the name but it's a film with Johnny Depp from late 90s, it is a thriller movie and JD is acting a bookstore owner and a very arrogant guy that gets a job to bring a very rich client a couple of books, for that he needs to travel around europe. Of course there are some other guys that are after the same books and it's very dangerous and a lot of traps, etc, etc.

Anywho it's awesome

Check it out on imdb... Just search for Johnny Depp and check out late 90s movies... You know what I'm talking about when you've read it there... cba to go on there and hotlink as I'm @ work >.>
